Does the non-exclusive license found in the $250-850 rewards grant me the right to publish my game for any console?

I'm looking to acquire the rights to integrate the Fantasy art kit and/or addon kits with my online gaming service, does the license grant me the rights to do that?
Yes, but I chose to make those license types limited. Be sure to check the $2000 pledge reward of you are a developer of a VTT/Virtual tabletop software. By choosing the $2000 pledge reward, you will be getting a non-exclusive license to merge the base Fantasy art kit with your VTT, for use with your paying users/licenseholders.Last updated:
Would you consider adding your Fantasy art kit and future addons to my rpg website for sale purposes?
Yes. Do contact me via e-mail at email@example.com with your proposal.Last updated:
Yes, although the main target for this kit is for use with rpg softwares such as Virtual tabletop softwares.
Every token will in the end be size related to eachother, this means that a sword won't be twice the size of a halfling, and a halfling won't be twice the size of a dwarf. Some tokens will have to be adjusted so that they appear a bit smaller, such as dragons and larger humanoids such as giants. When you print the tiles and tokens, you shouldn't have to adjust the scale for each image. The same goes for the terrains.
I will also include two types of overlay grids, hexagons and square grids. Adjusting those for printing purposes will be up to you, in regards of how large a hexagon or square should be on the finished printed map terrain(for use with physical rpg campaigns, you are also required to create the maps first, before using the overlay grids).Last updated:
After acquiring the license in your pledge reward and using your kit with my game, do I have to pay royalties to you?
No. Once you've acquired the license to use my art kit with your game project, or book project or module project, that's it. The license is the only cost you'll have to pay me for the use of the kits with your projects.Last updated:
The pledge reward I chose stated I will receive the base Fantasy art kit for free, what does that mean?
As a pledger, choosing any of the rewards that will give you a free base Fantasy art kit:
means that you will receive the base Fantasy art kit, for use outside of any Virtual tabletop software or with any Virtual tabletop software. You can download the base Fantasy art kit once it is made available to you, and you can use the image files to create campaign maps in Gimp, Photoshop, Corel Painter or any other software of your choice that allows you to handle transparent PNG files. You may then for example print out those maps, or as another example display them on your pc, mac, iPad or other device that is capable of showing the image. Unless you hold a license to use the art kits commercially, then you may not sell the maps or make them available for random people online.
Or you could also import the art kit image files into the VTT you are using, and create the campaign maps there.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $25 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $50 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $100 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $175 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $250 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $500 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $850 pledge reward.
You will receive a base Fantasy art kit with the $2000 pledge reward.Last updated:
If your pledge reward states you will receive any addon kits, those kits will contain art files in the same way as the base Fantasy art kit. The base Fantasy art kit is not required to use these addon kits, but since all or most pledge rewards contain the base Fantasy art kit, you will be getting that too, along with any addon kits.
As with the base Fantasy art kit, you are allowed to use these outside of any Virtual tabletop software, and with any Virtual tabletop software, the choice is yours and you are not prevented in any way to use the art kits as long as you have acquired them in any of the pledge rewards.
However, you may only use the art kits/addon art kits for commercial purposes if you have acquired a commercial license to do so.Last updated:
I'm a bit confused, do I really have to pledge for the $175 reward to use the base Fantasy art kits + addon kits as a GM/DM for my rpg campaigns?
No, I added that part of the pledge reward text because I had a few requests from GMs/DMs who wanted "everything" but did not require a commercial license.
The $175 pledge reward will give you all benefits for non commercial purposes, receiving the base Fantasy art kit and every addon to the Fantasy art kit for as long as I create them. If that means I will create 40 different addon kits to the Fantasy art kit, then 40 different addon kits is what you will receive for free.
You may choose any pledge reward below $175 and still be able to use the art kits described in the pledge rewards, within any Virtual tabletop software, or outside of your Virtual tabletop software. The choice is yours, there are none preventing you to use my art kits outside of any VTT.Last updated:
By that I mean that you will receive every addon kit that I create and release under the Game Master's Campaign - Fantasy art kit name. These addon kits will include any of the kits seen in any of the stretch goals that have not been met when this kickstarter project has ended. And every addon kit that I intend to make, small or large, as long as it's released under the name I mentioned earlier.
So theoretically, if I live to become 60 and still paint addon kits, you will receive each and every one of those. And I'm 34 now btw :)
Addon kits can be: a small pack made up of 30 new weapons, a small pack made up of 20 new armors, a fantasy character pack made up of 40 characters, a Dwarven theme pack which includes typical dwarven terrain, dwarven structure tiles, dwarven objects, dwarven items, weaponry, armor, food, dwarven characters, dwarven typical animals (with or without armor) and so on. Or the theme could be elves, trolls, orcs, gnomes, goblins and so on. The main point is, if I create 50 or 100 addon kits, you will receive them all, free of charge, if you pick a pledge reward that states you will receive all future addon kits for free.Last updated:
