What Is The Voice Of Reason?
The Voice of Reason is a comedy, but it’s about about making the right decisions in difficult situations. It’s about family issues and how parents relate to their teenaged kids and how teenaged kids relate to their parents, (and each other).
VOR has been developed as a “safe-for-watching” series. There’s no zombies or violence, nudity or R-rated situations. There’s no bad language, no preaching, no fighting and no chance of it ever becoming a reality show – unless of course the little voice in your head pops out to say hello. If that happens, call us – right away!
Pre-Production, Casting and Costumes
To this point, the cast is completely in place and all of the pre-production work has been done. The scripts are written, set design, wardrobe, props and locations have been taken care of and the production team is ready to start shooting the beginning of June.
Your funding will go to help offset the costs involved in the actual production of the series. The series creators have already covered the pre-production costs. 100% of your pledges will go toward the completion of Season One. Currently, there are 6 epsiodes scheduled, but reaching and/or exceeding our goal will allow for even more episodes.
The series will shoot over a 4 week period from June 3 through June 28, 2013, with the first episode airing on/or about July 15, 2013.
The Voice of Reason was written by Joe Thomas & Dennis Mareno and is being produced by Left Brain Digital.
Risks and challenges
With any creative endeavor, there are risks; and while we have tried to minimize the risks, some risk is always present. Cast illness, equipment malfunction, shooting schedule conflicts with locations - these are all areas that leave little, or no control and would cause for some chance of production delay. While we do not anticipate any issues, things happen, but if and when they do, we will be prepared. Our cast and crew have extremely flexible schedules and the cast, crew and all equipment have had their flu shots.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
