About this project
The Heroes of the Vietnam War: Books for Children
My books, "The Heroes of the Vietnam War Books for Children," comprise the first historical non-fiction series for kids ages 6-12 that focuse on the positive and heroic deeds of American servicemen during the Vietnam War. These books are interesting, patriotic, and from the American perspective. "Little Bird Dog and the Big Ship," which is about "Operation Frequent Wind" is currently available at all online booksellers. Book Two, "Saving the Vietnamese Orphans," which is about "Operation Babylift" is in process. Book Three which will be about the swift boat boys is in the research phase. I want to continue to write until I have produced compelling non-fiction books about our Medal of Honor winners, the Huey pilots, and all of the other exemplary warriors who served during the Vietnam Era. My fondest wish is for Vietnam veterans to set their grandchildren on their knees and read a book to them that opens a door to sharing their own important stories. I have run out of money after devoting my life savings to this project. I need your help to keep this critical, one-of-a-kind book project going!
