Please see the video which explains about my art and my experience painting labyrinths.
My Kickstarter Project is to go to Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY during their Arts Week this July, to get inspired and to meet lots of people. After I will begin a series of seven large scale labyrinth paintings which I will have begun with sketches at Omega.
I also hope to gain some ideas and inspiration about the direction I will take in my career as an artist. I will bounce ideas off of fresh minds, show my work to a new audience and prepare for myself for the next step.
People don't always realize it but painting is a solitary practice unlike making music or doing theater. Artists who work alone in a studio need time to meet up with like-minded folks, get connected and renewed for the next big project. That's what I would like to do in a nutshell. I will keep a journal of my time at Omega (with writings and photos) for my backers to view on my website. Afterwards, I will complete a series of at least seven large scale labyrinth paintings, these will be posted on my website by January, 2016.

There you will see more labyrinth paintings, other series of painting and drawings.
Risks and challenges
Honestly, I don't see many risks and challenges for this project. Because it's my first Kickstarter project (and I hope to do more in the future); it's a pretty simple project: get inspired, connect with others, and do the work. Nonetheless, there is always the fear that I can get behind on my rewards or go blank in my creativity for a moment. I need my backers to know that if I am running late I will deliver, please be patient.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
