About

 THE STORY 

 Free The Dragons, when dragons are your family. You are the last dragon Master alive. All your family dragons have been captured and imprisoned by demons, monsters and vikings. 

 Your unique mission is to find all the imprisoned dragons, fly them and be free! 

 THE GAME EXPERIENCE

Play on ground as a warrior, look for dragons to free then jump on a dragon, fly and burn everything! Single Player mode in a multilevel 3D Platform and realistic photogrammetry scenarios. 

  •  Fully interactive landscapes improved by unique cinematic cameras applied directly in gameplay action to give a realistic vision to your dragon fly experience and to each warrior attack. 
  •  Play the game in a unique 'Ink drawn on Old paper' effect, just press a key to switch the effect then another to take the best combat or fly screenshots. 
  •  Fly any Dragon, spit fire, burn vegetation, combat terrain creatures and flying monsters.
  • Unique combat scenes in moving cages, surrounded by real physic chains. 
  •  Pickup any weapon you find, throw it with an immersive cinecamera action scene. Recall your weapon, slice again to kill your enemies and destroy anything around you. 
  •  Teleport yourself with magic spells or freeze your enemies with a single shot. 
  •  Every actor and material in the game has been chosen and created with a unique parameter: be as much realistic as possible. 

 WHY THIS GAME

A huge passion in developing games in Unreal Engine 4, focusing on game mechanincs and physics: chains moves with realist physics under the wind or if you hit them, grass burns under dragon or demons fire, all actors have 100% ragdoll when hit, your 3rd person visual looses focus when energy is low and your heart beat will be louder and louder in your ears. 

 In Free the Dragons I wanted to combine cinematics and gameplay to give a realistic dragon fly experience and an immersive cinematic fight sensation: feel deeply inside the combat, feel the caos, the confusion of being hit and the different cinematic camera movements following each attack you make.

  • sharp bladed weapons can slice objects and actors in the scene
  • arena battle buildings (statues, columns, bricks, etc) are destructible under weapon impact
  • magic spell can freeze some enemies or teleport player to specific bubble targets
  • many cinematic cam attacks from different camera view
  • extreme enemy ragdoll on hit
  • you can play with a unique screen effect (black ink on old yellow parchment) and take the best screenshots of your dragon fly
