Live Q&A Friday October 2nd! 8PM EST!
Hello everyone! Thanks to you we are 111% funded!
If you didn't have the time to tune in last night you can check out the Know Direction podcast right here! I lose my mind about Hypercorps around minute 28 but the whole episode is worth watching. :D
But there's so much more going on! A ton of folks are hearing about the project from around the internet and DriveThruRPG is helping out with that: they made the Hypernet PDF their Free Product of the Week!
The Power of Backers!
There are still more things coming along the way and word continues to spread, but no blog article, newsletter, or podcast is as powerful or loud as YOU, the backers!
Tell social media about Hypercorps 2099! If even half of you (fantastic and amazing) backers tell your friends, we'll reach thousands more people and I am positive that many of them will pledge to the project!
The images below are ideally sized for Facebook profile pics and a great (subtle) way to show your support for the project! Please consider using one until the funding period ends! :D
LIVE Q&A on Friday October 2nd at 8PM EST!
It's true! Last year for the Veranthea Codex Kickstarter we did some Live Q&A sessions (two in fact) and in addition to being a great chance to interact with the folks backing the project, it was a great bonding experience for the design team. So we're doing one for Hypercorps 2099!
If you've got any questions about the project (any at all!) please leave them here as a comment to the update or on the Hypercorps 2099 Facebook page and we'll make sure to address you during the Q&A!
Nathanael's carefully sussing out the Timeline illustration and he's got the third panel nailed down—does anybody recognize the poor fellow about to eat an arrow?
Rollin has finished his inks but wants to wait for flat colors before he does a reveal, and Claudio is carefully poised for when we break through $7k before he completely submits himself to the horrifying terrors of the robodragon! :D
Writing and Development
The core team is getting their outlines for locales together while I work out some other, arguably less fun bits (like scheduling art and figuring out where in the book we'll need more of it, for instance). I expect to have a sheaf of art orders for Nathanael prepared in time for the Q&A, which should give our resident interior artist quite a bit to talk about!
That's it for today's update folks! Please ask us your questions and we'll get you some answers in the Q&A on Friday October 2nd (8PM EST/5PM PST)!
