If you are a fan of Redwall or The Secret of NIMH, but you also enjoy The Conjuring or Paranormal Activity, this mug of hot chocolate is for you.
Wraith, Pan, Frida and the rest of the forest animals felt safe for the first time in a long while when they discovered the abandoned cabin in their woods. They had settled in and made it their own cozy home, only to be invaded by a family of humans, an ambitious psychic who thinks their house is haunted and worst of all -- a ravenous kitty who has a taste for squirrels. Will Wraith and Pan get their house back, or will they be eaten in their efforts?
Vera Greentea and the brilliant illustrator Elk are back with the creepier, much anticipated sequel to Wraith: House of Wicked Creatures.
A page from Wraith: House of Wicked Creatures (Issue 1).
A small note of importance: If you missed the Kickstarter for Issue 1: House of Wicked Creatures, you may pledge for it - just find the corresponding pledges!

Vera Greentea is the writer of the forthcoming witchy noir YA graphic novel GRIMOIRE NOIR (to be published by First Second/Macmillan in July 2019). She is known for her dark fantasy stories, including an ongoing Victorianpunk series Recipes for the Dead, the completed dark fairy tale Nenetl of the Forgotten Spirits, and her myth-drenched family saga The Idols of Solanşehir, an ongoing series elsewhere on Kickstarter.
You can find these and other comics at her website, greenteapublishing.com.
Elk, also known as Jade Mosch, is the incredibly stunning illustrator of the popular KANAGAWA board game and its expansions, and her ethereal artwork shows up in books like The Enchanted Forest, Heart of Gold and her very own Bestiae ab Aquis and Songs of Chaos (coming soon!).
This Kickstarter campaign for our spooky tale will be up during the winter months of November/December, waiting for you like a warm sip of a salted caramel mocha.
During this time, we hope to collect enough money to pay ELK for her incredible work, pay our diligent letterer, print the book and ship it to you lovely horror-loving folk, as well as the usual costs (aka Kickstarter fees, buying packaging supplies, all relevant merchandise, ISBN & barcodes, etc.). The comic will be of usual Greentea Publishing quality; 15 pgs. of story + extras, all in glorious color and large-font format. Our printer is American, so it's a bit more expensive, but we don't mind sacrificing some money to save on costs to the environment.
We are lucky to have some of the most ethereal and lovely art to create rewards. In addition to our books and bookmarks, our highlight award this year will be a Limited Edition Wooden Charm, with two separate designs based on our main characters, Pan and Wraith.
We are also offering 3 Stretch Goals!
We have added a third option to the charms. Along with the courageous Wraith and the kind Pan, we now have the villainous Poet, a cheerful and chubby ghost-hunter belonging to a psychic.
You may choose to get Poet as a charm in his own tier, but if you are at the $75 Full Haunted House tier, you will get this charm automatically.
This reward is an extra that will be added to everyone's package, as long as you ordered something physical. (Starts with the $10 book tier).
This is something really special and I don't want to spoil it!
Thank you so much for taking some time to look at our eerie little tale of forest animals and spirit creatures! ELK and I are having a lot of fun designing this fun comic for you and we are so excited to share our odd artist brains with you all!

Risks and challenges
Greentea Publishing has now been creating projects on Kickstarter for over 5 years. We're proud to say that we've been very professional about making sure that we don't miss our deadlines and follow up with our pledgers about what's happening (and we're even known to chase down a pledger if they forgot to send us their pertinent info - we want everyone to get what they pay for!). We love our supporters and we love to treat them well!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
