SPECIAL EDITION NYC and a new project!

Dearest warriorpunks and art-rebelettes,

I come to you with three announcements!

1. Greentea Publishing (and I) will be showing off our gorgeous books at Special Edition NYC, at the Artist Alley table F3! If you're a New Yorker or a lovely visitor in our town, I hope that you come visit! There will be Greentea Publishing loot, and chatting, and a raffle for a giant PAPA poster - just in time for Father's Day yet again!

And of course, you can buy tickets for the show here:

2. I also want to take this opportunity to let you loves know that I am running another Kickstarter called RECIPES FOR THE DEAD. It's a series about a young baker working to get her bakery out of bankruptcy while fending off a lovesick demon.

Art by Ein Lee and Allison Strom, writing by me. Link here:

3. The Greentea Publishing website has been newly renovated and you may find digital copies of all my comics, as well as print! Link again:

And that's it, my dearest comrades! I hope you are all well and getting ready for another celebratory Father's Day. Hope to see you all at Special Edition!

New Kickstarter Re: Nenetl of the Forgotten Spirits

Just wanted to let you know that I've just launched my (more family-friendly) Kickstarter comic project for Nenetl of the Forgotten Spirits: Part Two! It's a ghostly series following a young spirit as she searches the streets of Mexico for her family. I hope you get to check it out!

Link here:

I hope you enjoy, dears! Thanks for all that you've done for me and I hope to see you guys again!

Rewards Are All Out! (Thank the Demigods of Post)

My dearest comrades,

All pledge rewards have been sent! And that is most important.

This has been a kayak on the Niagara Falls kind of ride for me, where almost nothing went smoothly at the end BUT I had my sword (the cell phone that wielded much fight) and I had my patient gladiators at my back (you lovely people who gave me nothing but constant support and encouragement) and really, nothing about this metaphor makes any sense. But it doesn't matter because PAPA the book came out looking so incredible, that every fist in every mouth was worth it!

I'm terrifically happy with the results and I really hope you guys will be too!

Much love to each and every one of you,

Hey again, gentlefolks!

Just a quick update - PAPA has been garnering some lovely reviews from here and there, and I thought to link you guys to some of them.

Bleeding Cool Review:

Hipster Dad Review (this one is a very tiny bit spoilery, so if you hadn't read the PDF and you're waiting for the physical copy, you can skip this one):

The Comic Run Review (a glowing podcast by one of our own backers, Aaron Fristik):

And as for your books: good news, m'dears! A bunch of them went out today, so hopefully some of you will be getting them soon!

And... here's a photo of me signing the books for you guys.
