For those who don't know me, "Hi. I'm Venger Satanis, High Priest of Kort'thalis Publishing. What's up?"
I believe this is my 13th Kickstarter. Want to see what I've been doing the last 4 years? Check out my old school gaming blog: http://vengersatanis.blogspot.com/
I haven't explored the post-apocalypse genre that often, so this is a big deal to me. I want to get deep in there and do it right, coming up with weird, outlandish things in a world devastated by cataclysmic forces. PCs will be eating crock-rat and scorpion-skunk roadkill, drinking their own piss, giving hand jobs for precious gasoline, and pretending to worship the glowing faces of a malevolent and insane god that floats somewhere in the yellow smog of the forbidden zone. Not everyone will survive. In fact, some won't even want to. That's just the way things are now.
There are already a lot of cool post-apocalyptic RPGs out there. Gamma Turquoise: Santa Fe Starport will focus on making your after-the-bomb gaming experience more awesome. I strive to hit that sweet spot between rules-light and rules-non-existent, where flavor, story, ideas, artwork, scenario seeds, and random tables dominate. Indeed, this book will have utility far beyond the scenario presented. You'll want to give this to your grand-kids when they go off adventuring in post-apocalyptic lands.
I provide you with the finest tools so that YOU can create your own irradiated landscape full of mutated skeezoid scum dogs (tentacled, of course). But this won't be a lame outline that you have to flesh out. No, you're in good hands - Venger's warlock hands!
If you want a lot of crunchy, bloated, system nonsense that has no business being in a toolbox like this, then move along. Nothing to see here...
Gamma Turquoise: Santa Fe Starport emphasizes the American south-west (where I used to live for a little while - mmm... wish I was eating warm sopapillas with honey right now!) in the 25th century. That area of the USA barely survived, dubbed Gamma Turquoise by the knuckle-dragging, one-eyed and three-breasted natives barely hanging onto the bottom of the evolutionary ladder. High-tech meets sorcery in survivalist horror mode. The hills have electronic eyes and traveling the road requires warriors with black leather balls!
There's a faction of shadowy militants led by an enigmatic sorcerer named Yrt'vash Saar (aka skull-face) threatening the safety of everyone in the Santa Fe Starport. No one has ever seen these terrorists with their own eyes - only the robed cult leader Yrt'vash Saar - but they all live in the fallout shelter below New Albuquerque.
This will be a PDF about 12-14 pages. In my view, less is almost always more when it comes to RPGs. Kort'thalis Publishing takes the OSR to the 4th wave - it's the primordial soup of creative individualists who don't game like others, we do it our way!
Gamma Turquoise will be compatible with my own d6 dice pool OSR systems: Crimson Dragon Slayer, Alpha Blue, and The Outer Presence, as well as, traditional d20 OSR engines. I'll also provide multiple entry-points so that this open sandbox scenario can easily be plugged into your existing scifi, fantasy, or investigative horror / eldritch pulp campaign.

Looking at the tiers, you might be wondering... what's Save Yourself From Hell? It's a terrific little scenario that I just came out with (decided not to Kickstart it because I had extra cash for art and layout). Here's a link: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/221613/Save-Yourself-From-Hell
If you're interested in "Everything Alpha Blue," you can find more info here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/168961/Alpha-Blue
If you have any questions, please ask!
p.s. Why not an endless war, deadlocked in a stalemate between the purest logic of the blue Z'roids and the infallible logic of the red Z'roids? Will the PCs get in the middle of this conflict and fuck shit up? Yeah, probably.
$2,500 - Glynn Seal of MonkeyBlood Design will make a color map of the desert wasteland that surrounds the Santa Fe Starport.
$3,000 - Glynn Seal will create a color map of the Santa Fe Starport itself.
$3,500 - Glynn Seal will illustrate the fallout shelter / post-apocalpytic dungeon below New Albuquerque.
$4,000 - Glynn Seal will also create detailed plans of a large, high-tech land vehicle that the PCs will most likely stumble upon while traversing the wasteland.
Risks and challenges
If I die or am incapacitated before completing this project, you probably won't get your PDF. But I'm sure you'll get a refund.
