What's the big deal?

In a world where digital applications have made a lot of things easier and smarter, it also seems that it has change the norms within the way humans interact. 

A lot of us have "professional networks" with 500+ connections. But do we actually know all of these connections? Do we even know half of these 500+ connections??

Our intuitive answer is; "Probably not". 

A lot of connections in these professional networks often become forgotten names, with nice business portrait pictures and titles, in more or less know companies, in different industries.  

Even if we actually use our professional network "well", the tendency is that business can be created and relations maintained over the internet - from screen to screen (Or skype to skype). We would like to differ. We believe that relations and business should be build on trust. And real trust is strongest when established through face-2-face conversations.  

So we set out to see if we could use technology to (1) help get these more or less redundant connections to add value to your professional network, and (2) to establish an incentive to meet face-2-face, creating real trust and value adding business relations.

What is your money going toward? 

Well, first of all it´s not a LinkedIn competitor or LinkedIn-killer. It is a complementary application, that will contribute to the value proposition that LinkedIn is offering.

We are looking to raise a minimum of $ 295.000 to get this groundbreaking new way of using technology to move people closer face-2-face, and to fund the plan and organization needed to stay on track. 

Our software will be built to create a – to common digital professional networks – counterintuitive incentive. 

We want people to meet and talk face-2-face, the good old way, shake hands on a deal and feel the firm grip of success. Keep it old school….

We will introduce an app that will give the user the option to reach out to his/her network in a completely new way…. Possibly adding value on a whole other level then ever seen before.  

And at the end of the day, we believe that - with your help - we will be rewriting the standard on relationship management, making a profund impact on a global scale. 

When Will it Be Completed?

Within a month of the campaign closing we will begin programming both the back-end, and the application-side. This is estimated to take 6-7 months (Incl. testing of the first fully functional version). We will be hard at work on the main goal of launching the software within that timeframe.  

After launch our next goal is slowly to climb the ladder towards 100.000 users. We aim to reach this goal no later then 12 months after launch.

Risks and challenges

We believe strongly in our ability to stay on track.

If we reach our goal here, our first milestone after launch will be to reach 100.000 users within 12 months. This is critical, as this is the point from here the project will be selfsustaining.

Should we miss our target of 100.000 users within 12 months, the next step would be to secure further funds to propel the project. Although small, there is a small chance that we fall through.
