Early Bird shipping, et al.
To date, we've finished shipping most of the Early Birds and soon we'll begin shipping Batch 1 and Batch 2. We're doing this incrementally--pallet by pallet, to be exact--with the goal of fulfilling all rewards (and pre-orders too) before Chinese New Year.
This is no small feat. It's compounded by the fact that we have to implement additional quality assurance procedures to prevent the kind of problems reported by the first wave of users. Problems range from damage during shipping to mistakes in assembly. It's costly and time consuming and frankly just embarrassing that things like that occur. But we're committed to doing right by all you guys no matter what.
I'm back in Asia in a couple of days (my turn to oversee production) with a goal of shipping out a few pallets, hopefully enough to close out Batch 1 and Batch 2 as I said. Then my team will do a stretch in China to fulfill the balance before Chinese new year.

It's rough. But we know at some point production will be refined to a degree that it runs like clockwork. We just have to continue to working at it.
