Revised print specs will be detailed in our FAQ section soon so you know just what it is you're fighting for!
Want it? Then get supporting, spread the word and make it happen!
FULLY FUNDED AS OF 1:49PM PST 7/11/2012
Thank you so much for your support - the reaction has been phenomenal, and the fact we were funded in just over two days is completely staggering! Our first volume is now completely funded! Further money raised beyond our goal will help secure printing for our second and third volumes, so let's make this happen!
Also, due to the support we've received, ALL BACKERS will receive a special Telikos Protocol wallpaper pack containing never-before-seen Telikos Protocol artwork AND both the first and second parts of Descent - Pages From The Journal Of Dr John Santilli absolutely free! How cool is that?
We are Peter Cooper and Adam Burn, a writer-artist team based in the United Kingdom, and we are creating a comic book with an epic-scale, action-intensive storyline, rendered in dramatic digital artwork that, we hope, will take your breath away.
We are both massive fans of the science fiction genre, and Telikos Protocol embodies everything we are looking to achieve in a science fiction work - a story that is massive, exciting and also rather pretty!
This is our first foray into the realm of comics and we've already received a lot of support so far, from fans at conventions and online, who have had a chance to read our prelude (released November 2011 at the Thought Bubble festival, Leeds) and gotten a feel for what we, and Telikos Protocol, are all about. We hope you'll join us on the adventure.
What is Telikos Protocol about?
In the wake of ecological and environmental disaster, humanity stands on the brink of extinction, trapped in subterranean cities with the planet Earth dying all around them. The abandoned relics of an alien race are mankind's last hope for salvation. But when they return to Earth to reclaim their lost technology, humanity is left in a bitter fight for survival.
The story of Telikos Protocol is as massive in scale as its setting, spanning from the vast underground cities across Earth to the far-flung reaches of space, meeting a host of alien civilisations and exploring the very nature of existence itself. Don't worry, though - there'll be explosions too! And as is our natural way, we have very big plans and lots of surprises in store as the story progresses.
What about the goods?
Each issue of Telikos Protocol will run to 50 pages, to be released on a schedule of roughly three to four issues annually with three-issue volumes collected into trade paperbacks. Our outline stretches for a complete run of nine issues, meaning a total of over 450 pages of stunning artwork all to the standard of what you can see above.
We have teamed up with Jay Douglas and Nav Gupta from Vanquish Interactive, based in Los Angeles, to help make this book a reality. With their assistance we are close to finalising the printing of our first issue, which will be sent out to supporters (along with all other rewards) fresh off the presses via distribution centres at Vanquish's base in Los Angeles, California and our base in London, England.
So what's on offer?
We have a wide range of rewards from physical and DRM-free digital copies of our comic to replica uniforms and even the chance of appearing in the comic! Every penny of your funding goes toward the support of the Telikos Protocol project, helping to cover printing and supply costs. But we want this to go longer than just one issue, and we are hoping to raise enough money to help cover the print costs for our entire first volume!
Should we overrun our goal, we'll keep pumping the money back into the project, helping to support our efforts in the long term by covering later volumes and ensuring that Telikos Protocol has a long future in print and in the hands of its fans.
If you can't afford any of the rewards but still want to show your support, there's loads of ways you can show some love for our project! Spread the word, share our Kickstarter via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other social media. Tell your friends and let them know all about us! And be sure to like us on our Facebook Page and come and say hi!
The sky's the limit! And with the support of our fans, we know we can make it. :)

The prelude is no longer available in print, but it is available online from the following link! Enjoy!
We will not be releasing more than 100 copies of the limited edition hardback volume one. Some copies are being retained for internal use and we have made 75 copies available across various reward tiers.
However, a second edition has been established, and volumes two and three are now available. Hope you guys are looking forward to it!
