Volume 1: COMPLETE
It is with great pride that we would like to announce the completion of the first volume of Telikos Protocol! All of the interior pages have been finalised (including Descent: The Diary of Dr John Santilli, which all of you will have digital access to for free!) and we're doing final formatting on the book's cover.
It's been a long ride, but the book is looking STUNNING. The final page count comes in at 184 pages for the standard edition and 204 pages for the limited edition version of the book. As soon as the cover is 100% finalised we will be popping it up on here. A quick teaser:
For those of you clock-watching (and truthfully, we can't blame you), you'll be well aware of the fact we've overrun our deadlines. Trust us when we say we find this as frustrating, if not more so, than all of you. Telikos is a project we do for no pay and in between other work and subsidised projects (one of which, DRONE, we will be talking to you all about very soon hopefully!), and it is a project that we cherish above all others. When we first worked out our release schedule we were in much less demand and, truthfully, had little idea how the response to our creation would be. Needless to say, a lot has changed since that summer in 2012, and our commitment to quality has meant that a rushed release really wasn't an option.
In light of all this, we feel the need to present a more realistic release schedule for the coming volumes. As things currently stand, it has taken two years to produce the first volume, and we expect future volumes to follow the same pattern. This would place the release of volume two in 2016 and volume three in 2018 respectively. We will certainly try and execute this faster, and should we have further issues and slips we will do our utmost to keep you all appraised, but we both hope that will not be necessary.
For those of you eager to see us at more conventions, we will once again be in attendance at New York Comic Con! You will be able to find us in the main hall's small press area in booth #962. We will also be at October's London Comic Con, so we'll be sure to let you know what tables we have when we get the info in!
In the meantime, we'll get DESCENT into a PDF and get it hosted for you all to see. Updates on fulfilment of volumes and other goodies will follow. If you've changed your address, please let us know so we can make sure you get your books! Pete will probably email you all directly anyhow, but letting us know pro-actively will help us out an awful lot.
Keep up the good fight!
Adam & Pete
