A card game that plays like the game of memory with a fantasy twist, adding hero cards, equipment, and more. It's kid friendly as well.

@Benjamin he specializes in characters and creature drawings but yeah he's done pretty awesome so far.
Really well? First time? Holy cow the kids a natural! Those scenes are beautiful!
@mydienon I've got a kid from Thailand for this project. This is his first try at backgrounds too, he's doing really well.
I'm focusing on the wrong side of the cards though. The artwork on the cards is phenomenal! Who is the artist?
@mydienon ah lol that makes more sense, I was like well hmm the exclamation point isn't supposed to be centered, the features icon was the one I didn't have any idea what to do for it so the artist came up with it. Pretty much any game with a quest in it has an ! for quests so it seems okay enough. But the arrow doesn't do anything for me either on the lore icon. A skull might be a good idea as a cross between the two games, good idea.
Maybe skulls for danger, like the skull icons from the Dungeon Escape game? It would be a subtle cross-over icon between the games, and a skull definitely implies "danger"...
In my previous comment, by "out of place" I meant the exclamation point and arrow aren't really thematic, not their position on the icons. I agree the history book would look better without the arrow. The exclamation point on the magnifying glass reminds me of World of Warcraft (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I suppose, since a lot of people like WoW).
@Tina me too :) thanks.
@Mydienon whats your suggestion for a danger icon? I don't know if I like the bomb too much but it's used sparingly on cards anyway.
The arrow is fine, the book and arrow need to be a pixel or two to the left. I don't particularly like the arrow though so I'll probably remove it when I get the layered copies, these are just a preview of the non finished work, I haven't gotten my hands on anything yet. Exclamation point on the feature one is in the middle of the magnifying glass not the middle of the icon.
Because I have to comment on *everything*...would you be willing to consider another option for the "Danger" icon? All the rest have a medieval/fantasy theme...
(If I chose to nitpick, I'd also mention the exclamation point on the Feature icon and the arrow on the History icon as being a little out of place...)
I love the gears on the NPC icon though!
This sounds good. And I'd love for both this and Dungeon Escape to be made. Good luck!
