Game Time: 15-30 mins
Fruit Assassin is a player elimination card game. Up to 10 players my join, but only one can be victorious. Choose your strategy to ensure you are the final fruit assassin.
Here are some things I like about the game:
*When you discover the player you have to assassinate; In the beginning of the game, no one knows who their assassin is.
*When you go on a killing spree; You go again when you assassinate someone.
*When someone attempts to assassinate you, and their wrong; If someone assassinates you, and you're not their target, they are the one eliminated.
Objective: Be the last player with cards.
How to play: Count how many players there are. Then, take that many assassins (blue cards) and targets (red cards) out of the box. Make sure each assassin you pull has a matching target.
Shuffle the pile together and spread it in the middle of the table face down. Each player picks 1 assassin card, and 1 target card.
Players are able to see their own hand, but no one else's.
The owner of the game player goes first, then goes clockwise. After the first round is finished, the winner goes first.
Each player takes 1 action on their turn. You have 3 options:
Inspect: Pick a player's assassin card or target card. They reveal it to you long enough for you to understand what it is, then they conceal it.
Trade: Pick a player. Trade with them either your assassin card or target card.
Assassinate: Pick a player to assassinate. They are eliminated if your target card matches their assassin card, OR if they have them self as a target. Both players can see each other's hand for proof, but no one else.
When you assassinate someone, your new target becomes the target of the player you assassinated, unless they had them self as a target.
After successfully assassinating someone, you go again. This can repeat an unlimited number of times.
If you attempt to assassinate someone, and your target card does not match their assassin card, OR if they don't have them self as a target, you are eliminated. Discard your assassin card from the game and reveal it to everyone. Whoever had your assassin as their target reveals it, and discards it from the game. Their new target becomes your old one.
The final player remaining wins the round and gains a victory card. There are 10 rounds total. The player with the most victory cards after the 10th round wins.
The kickstarter campaign ends December 8th, so you should expect the game by January. The printing company I use is TheGameCrafter. They have global shipping insurance.

Risks and challenges
I have no online presence. I need to show I can design and deliver a good game, so I'm starting with something that is cost effective, has sold locally, and I know I can deliver. It costs me $11 to make the game, which is the same amount of a pledge that includes the game.
Currently Fruit Assassin is sold locally at two stores in Connecticut:
