Happy Year of the Snake from the "9-Man" Documentary Team! Nine-man players across North America celebrated the Lunar New Year with lion dances and hot pot and little red envelopes this weekend and we wanted to pass the blessings of community and prosperity on to you. With your support, the Year of the Dragon was a great one and the Year of the Snake promises even more.

We closed out the Gregorian calendar with this successful Kickstarter fundraising campaign that raised awareness of 9-Man with a nice smattering of media coverage and project of the day/staff pick honors. We've added a few great new members to our team--Gregory, Jared, Joe, Vicky, Shirley and Anderson. And have hired John Fan (Reebok, Gatorade, Toyota, Lexus, AT&T) as our creative director. This March we are planning a 9-Man panel with the Museum of Chinese in the Americas, as well as an event for our VIP supporters. Please stay tuned!

I'm very pleased to announce that "9-Man" now has an executive producer. Melanie Riley-Green is a long-time supporter of the nine-man community and we're very excited to have her on board!

As always, we appreciate your support. Please keep spreading the word about "9-Man" by sharing our sample video. We are happy to honor the rewards from our Kickstarter campaign for new donors who can contribute anytime at We also have Limited Edition NYMini T-shirts available (see snake) for $25, shipping included. Email to request your size (larger sizes are going fast!).

Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year!!

Company Matching--> Double Your Impact

Posted by Ursula Liang (Creator)

Happy New Year!

Your tax-receipts from IDA are being processed right now and should be in your hands very shortly. Some of you have asked about corporate matching contributions, and the answer is YES! With the help of our fiscal sponsor, your pledge can be multiplied through your company's matching donation. Here is the info you'll need:

Is my project eligible for matching gifts?

Yes. We can process and accept matching gifts from businesses when an employee has made an eligible donation. Each company has their own rules and procedures for processing these donations. Employees or businesses who would like to make eligible gifts should contact the appropriate person at their place of employment for details on how to proceed. After a matching gift has been initiated, please let us know that a matching donation will be arriving and ask your company to reference the project you are donating to somewhere on the check or accompanying letter.

IDA'S MAILING ADDRESS: IDA, Attention: Fiscal Sponsorship Donations, 1201 West 5th Street, Suite M270, Los Angeles, CA 90017

IMPORTANT: Please have your company reference "9-Man" somewhere on the check or accompanying letter.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to increase your impact! We are still working very hard to raise the remaining budget for the film and every little bit helps.
