Introduction of MECHNICS Cufflinks:
Men are always interested in machinery, micro machines are one of it. By looking back in the historical evolution of mechanical products, there are many inspiration and we apply those elements into our new design.
Inspiration: Historical evolution of mechanical products
The Industrial Revolution: The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the period from about 1760 to 1840. This transition included going from hand production methods to machines, iron production processes, the development of machine tools. Many of the technological innovations created.
Nuts and Bolts Screws for Watch industry: The demand for metal parts such as screws, bolts and nuts led to the development of several machine tools during the industrial revolution.
The history of watches began in 16th century in Europe, where watches evolved from portable spring-driven clocks, which first appeared in the 15th century. The watch which developed from the 16th century to the mid 20th century was a mechanical device, powered by winding a mainspring which turned gears and then moved the hands, and kept time with a rotating balance wheel.
Rotors : In 1777, during the industrial revolution, the first automatic winding system innovated by Mr Abraham-Louis Perrelet. The initial rotor developed. This gave life to mechanical calibers and also gave the continuous development on nowadays automatic watches.
Design elements of MECHANICS Cufflinks:
In the evolution of watch making, mechanical movement are still using the same design blueprint from 200 years back.
Brand URIEL GENEQT often looks to mechanics and engineering as inspiration for its product. These mechanics cufflinks reference automatic watches, with movements that rotate around the centre.
