@Chaz He could do a jib jab like video where you can insert your face on top of whoever he is high fiving, but only 5$ and up backers get to use it.
10 dollar "Roamin takes a shot tier"
For every person in this tier after the refund date, roamin will take a shot on the stream.
How about a "High-five tier"? For $5 you will be sent a video of Rob high-fiving someone (you can pretend it's you!). Also your name on a thank-you page on the Urealms website. Probably not a huge cash generator, but it would give people something to kick in toward if they at least want to throw something in but don't want a copy of the game or just can't afford $15 at the moment.
@Jason: Indeed, only I think it's 48 hours unless they've changed it recently. Either way, really hoping to see the backer count shoot up with that. Another 500 backers would be nice.
We will have to raise about 3K per day in order to make the goal. Please spread it to your friends.
There is also the last 24 hours rush. Everyone who clicked remind me will get an email during the last 24 hours
Still no takers for the become a spell perk. I'm sure some people will pick it up in the double down deals.
@Brian: I would say you are right. A lot of people wait until closer to the end before pledging or upping their pledges when they have a better idea of what they can afford. It's easy to forget about money that was pledged weeks ago that hasn't yet been charged. I'm sure Christmas has a few people tapped out as well.
There's also a procrastination effect. I'm sure there are a lot of people who have looked at this project intending to pledge but haven't done it yet. Once we get closer to the deadline they'll kick in.
I'm currenty pledging $50 and I plan to change that to $100, but I can't at this time. I'm sure there are other people in a similar situation.
@james i also did some math and if all followers on twiiter that haven't donate would donate $6 we double right now, but chaz is correct were in good and rob got his put jace hall webpage 15K follers on twitter we have 11 days and 29% of the project tis but the final countdown AND IT SHALL BE EPIC
@James: One flaw, the $75 tier would sell out before everyone could move up. Though the lack of affordability is the much more important factor.
It's too early to be worried about this project. Considering with about 2/3 of the time gone, we have over 2/3 funding, things are in good shape. Definitely on pace to cross the finish line. Just need to keep getting the word out and bringing in more backers. Bringing in more backers is more important (and more likely) than having all the current backers chipping in significantly more money. So share Unforgotten Realms and let's increase the size of the fanbase.
$75 ... done.
i did the math and if everyone below the $75 perk would advance there perk to it then the kick starter would be past $100,000.
though that is probably not going to happen sense some people can't afford it.
I am no longer Carl's real brother I have moved up to creating a zone. If you want the community created class the mountain and Carl's brother need to be selected. Anyone willing to upgrade from the diamond tier?
31k in 12 days... thats 2.6k a day...
Its cutting it close...
FYI, those looking for more info and robs in-your-face passion should definitely check out his twitch account. Videos of note are:

He has also done the interview found on the front page (or here http://www.jacehallshow.com/news/interviews/gaming-personality/20121203/exclusive-interview-unforgotten-quest-dev/) and is waiting on more. The videos are by far the most info rich and exciting. In fact, in case you don't have 4 hours to watch the launch stream, the cliffnotes/event times can be found here: http://www.urealms.com/showthread.php…
I'd also recommend reading this: http://www.urealms.com/content.php… (posted in september) and don't miss the DvZ day coming up!
Robs hoping we all forget, but he stated on his Crazy Deals stream (http://www.twitch.tv/rurikar22/b/344847340) that if he sells all the deals, he will set that as the bar for the community shaped class. PLEDGE FOR THE MOUNTAIN YOU FOOLS, PLEDGE FOR IT NOW.
Another suggestion would be to post updates a little more often. Maybe once every 3 days or so. When you post an update it sends an e-mail to all your current backers telling them about it. Give everyone a progress report, maybe some links to any interviews/articles about the project, tell us more about the game, and encourage your backers to spread the word.
I changed from the mountain to become Carl's real brother. For a few reasons one is to mess with the fake brother. The second is I may not have enough ideas for a whole zone. I have already changed my pledge 3 times if its close at the end I will bump up to the 1000 tier.
I'm plugging the link to this project on any forum I can find. The newgrounds forum, while being irritating at hell and full of annoying 13-year-olds, boosts some very good traffic. I also plugged it at thatguywiththeglasses and Spoony Experiment forums, as well as facebook and twitter. Spread the word!
Things are looking pretty good, and the Kicktraq has the project trending toward being funded. Nobody should be worried about the low daily pledges for the last few days, that's pretty normal for Kickstarter, particularly gaming ones. Things tend to follow a U-shaped pattern. Lots of money at the beginning, a slow and steady trickle in the middle, then another big rush at the end. A lot of people wait until the end before pledging, or they forget about it. With 48 hours left, Kickstarter will send out a reminder e-mail to anyone who 'starred' the project, but hasn't backed yet.
Something I would recommend is the addition of "Add-ons". Basically, if someone wanted more than one reward, but didn't want to create another account to mess around with it that way, they simply add-on an appropriate amount to their pledge over and above their current reward tier (Set the prices in the update you mention the add-ons in). When the Kickstarter is over, you'll be able to send out a survey to all the backers asking them what add-ons they purchased. It helps cut down on the number of tiers, and then people don't have to choose between one or the other. Someone may want to name an item and a sword, but don't want two accounts and end up with two copies of the game, the show, and soundtrack. You may want to open it to Silver-tier and above backers (it's up to you). But something along the lines of : "Become a Rock Add-on: +$30" "Become a Sword Add-on: +$35". Or come up with some new things to offer as add-ons. Basically, it's a way to encourage people to chip in a little more without having to change tiers.
Someone unmountained into a real brother it looks like.. but so close to the god tier it seems strange
I just pledged my moneyz Rob, I hope the project makes it. An idea if I may suggest, maybe at the '10 days left' mark put up some stretch goals. It may encourage people to rush more money in to get more things for the project (first thing I'd like to see is an artist to help the project along).I'm sure what ever you plan on doing for the last days will be fine though. Cheers.
I wanna cast a spell.
Just heard about the project, had to back it. Loved watching the Unforgotten Realms series.
I cant stress this enough times, as it is obviously not happening. Everyone who backed, get at least one other person to back. Post on your favourite websites, post on your most hated websites. If you dont even go to the website make an account and post. This game needs EXPOSURE, nothing more.
I just realized something... the char you used in the game demo is the exact same one as the guy who appears in the Halloween Special for like 1 second, but he's there.
There has been no serious intrigue in another 10k perk Risi. I'm fairly certain if a person wanted to support the project this amount they would shoot me an email!
If at any point it looks like it won't be made I would strongly suggest making the $10,000 tier available again. Sure it may take an extra week or so out of your time but surely it's worth it to ensure successful completion.
On the kickstarter homepage! :D
60% of the way there!
Really excited to play this with friends! Good luck Rob!
I hope this goes through! I WANT TO BEAT UP KOBOLTS WITH DUAL SHIELDS!!!
glad to see the money flow rate has gone up again
Just update saying there will be updates, it makes a huge difference
Just donated $250 for the name of a Legendary Weapon. I'll think of something good, don't worry.
Gief Lumberjack Class!
Listen to the Lumberjack!
Seriously you have to post more updates, they win the game.
Going through high school and now university always looked forward to Rob's stuff. Take my money and heres hoping you can reach the goal!
Almost at 500 backers
Really need to have a few updates to encourage interaction, as well as possibly adding addon tiers or higher tiers, they could be unique things like posters, artwork, backgrounds that could be signed? Just a few ideas, also having a shoutout from someone would help a huge amount.
He really needs to add some more high-tier sectors. Perhaps a few $5,000 ones? to really push through to the finish line?
No idea what that 5,000 one would reward though :/
I cannot stress this enough, spread the word as far as you can
Wooo! Only $49,433 to go! Cmon people pledge!
Only about $5,000 in the last week... We need to publicize this some more! Or everyone needs to double their pledge.
I've been following the Unforgotten Realms series since it's first incarnation after you made Jimmy The World of Warcraft story. I remember you talking about this game you wanted to make, and I've been really excited for it ever since.
I'll be looking forward to my NPC in your game, I really hope you'll make it to the goal.
If this game doesn't make it I will be so sad.
Hope you make it Rob!
