Turn it into a smart bedside lamp with UpLamp!
Powered by our app, UpLamp turns your phone into gesture driven smart bedside lamp in seconds :)
It all started on a cold winter night - I was walking into the bedroom, my wife was already sleeping, so turning the light on was not an option - she would not appreciate being woken up just after she managed to fall asleep. Wanting to put my pajamas on and get ready to bed, I realised that something is missing - the perfect bedside companion that will be convenient enough, yet would not flood the room with light that will wake everyone up,
And than it happened! a spark, an idea was born!
Instead of just plugging the phone into a charger next to the bed and going to sleep, we both woke up, ran into our design studio, and started to design the UpLamp. One year later, and we are ready to go to bed with our own lampless lamp! A smart, elegant design, perfect for setting the evening mood.
And so we started the journey of designing a smart phone driven lamp!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
UPLAMP is utilizing the smartphone’s flash camera, as its light source, allowing its sensor’s eco-system to control your desired amount of light. By using advanced optics and carefully crafted glowing plastic resin, the light effect is fantastic!

Being an experienced design studio, specializing in LED light driven domestic products, developing this product was a very natural step in our design evolution.
We are excited about the potential for market success of this product as it clearly addresses an unmet need in the market place. Moreover, it is a practical and a cost effective solution to phone charging and home lighting needs simultaneously.
After years of designing LED lamps, engineering durable and sustainable products, offering multi-year warranties and producing lamps everywhere around the globe, locations such as Asia, Europe, and the US, we decided that we are ready for the next step and want tobring our experience to the kickstarter community.
