Back-up plan if we don't reach our goal
Thanks to the awesome people who've helped fund the project so far. I know you want to get your hands on BoardX, and I want to reassure everyone that things are going on behind the scenes to make that happen.
If I don't reach my funding goal, I'm funding production myself on a smaller scale at first, out of pocket. I've received interest from people looking to invest and help with assembly, so I'm actually in a better position than I was before creating the Kickstarter project.
If you'd still like to support the project in a more traditional way, you can reserve BoardX on the Upgrade Industries website. And as a special a holiday season offering, a handful of boards and add-ons from the first wave of low rate production are going on sale, which would give you a chance to buy boards that were assembled by free range, organic American engineers.
There are actually some in stock right now... hmm..
