The Don't Theory (Canceled)
A fun, but also serious card game to be played with friends to start a conversation about funny and serious material.
Lets start a conversation! We wanted to create a game that would put people in scenarios that they would have to really think about what they would do in a given situation. Each card has the power to evoke a strong emotions or just make people laugh out loud. The purpose of this game isn't to divide but open people's minds to different possibilities and seeing the world through someone else's eyes!
This 48 card card game is comprised of varying scenario cards that ask what you would do in a given situation. The Don't Theory is not a game that you win - the winning is in getting to better know yourself and those around you by forcing yourself and your friends to think about what they would do when faced with a difficult situation and to talk about it.
It's very simple. Each player takes turns drawing a situation card, which they then read and talk through what they would do in the given scenario. This can turn into a conversation or not - totally up to you and those you're playing with.
Below are a few of the situation cards in The Don't Theory to give you some idea of the type of conversations you'll have when playing this game.
Risks and challenges
Our biggest risk is that people will be afraid to play this game because of the topics on the cards. We all know it's easy to turn our heads away from tough situations, but how can we as humans ever learn if we don't start talking about issues that are facing our lives and the lives of our friends and family.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
