Ungrip: Hold your phone in comfort, style and many ways!

When designing Ungrip, we didn't add tons of features that are seldom used. Instead, we focused on two features that are highly visible and functional— how it would look on your device and how it would help you hold your device. We like it simple. And we think it's effective. We hope you think so, too.
NOTE: Ungrip adheres to most flat, non-porous surfaces. It will not stick to rubber, soft-touch silicone, TPU, fabric, and those with waterproof coating.
Having Ungrip on your phone allows you to use your phone with one-handed ease.

For those who love changing their cases or phones frequently, extra adhesives are a must to ensure continued enjoyment of Ungrip. Since Kickstarter doesn't allow more than one pledge, you may add $5 to your chosen pledge to enjoy an Add On pack.
For example: If you're getting a 'Singles - Patterns Collection Pledge' ($16), just add $5 so your total pledge would now be $21. We would then include an Add On to your order. If you want two Add Ons, just add $10 to your pledge... and so on.
Hello! My name is Johann and I’m the designer of Ungrip. Ungrip started a few weeks after I got a new phone. I always used my phone with one hand because I’m lazy, and getting that brand-spanking new large phone was exciting... for the first few weeks. I soon found myself struggling to hold it comfortably, and to hold and use it at the same time! It came to a point that I was about to buy a smaller phone, but I realized I couldn’t live with a small screen again.
So being like MacGyver, I took a lanyard strap and stitched it together, then glued it to the back of my case. It looked stupid, but I didn’t care — I was that frustrated with my phone.
One day, after using it for about 2 weeks, I realized I wasn’t complaining about how big my phone was anymore. In fact, I didn’t even notice that I had a big phone! That’s when I knew it actually worked! I then thought of developing and marketing this helpful trick. I proceeded to do research on similar solutions in the market, and was surprised to learn that there were many of them available. I liked a solution or two, but in general, none of them really appealed to me. That’s when I decided to develop Ungrip as a better and simpler solution.
It’s been more than a year of hard work, but all of it was worth it! I’ve been using Ungrip since Alpha 1.0 and couldn’t be happier. I hope you’ll find our team's work helpful in enjoying your phone more. :)
Risques et défis
We have already spent more than a year in developing this product, and invested in the tooling. We conducted practice runs to solve manufacturing problems, and just finished the packaging design. So there are just manufacturing and delivery to worry about. Since almost all the technical details have been addressed, you’ll get your hands on an Ungrip quickly and definitely surely (with your support)!
As with any products, there are always unforeseen problems and delays. But please be rest assured that we will update you as often as possible.
