National Television Premiere

Dear Friends,

It is with great joy that I write this message. Dreamer has been picked up for television by NUVO TV. It will air several times on the channel starting on the 4th of July and continue for a year. According to wikipedia:

"As of August 2013, approximately 32,735,000 American households (28.66% of households with television) receive nuvoTV."

Dreamer will have the potential to reach millions, how incredible is that? And it is all because of you.

They will also hold a special screening in LA prior to the television premiere. Currently scheduled for June 7. More details on that to come.

We wanted to give our film every opportunity for theatrical and television distribution before we released the DVD. As you can see, we are glad we did. Now that television distribution is in place, the DVD will go into production. We anticipate getting you the DVD before the television premiere. We will keep you updated.

I've received several messages from you inquiring about the DVD and they've always been understanding and patient. Never mean-spirited or angry. That is more than I could have expected; it is very humbling. This is truly a beautiful project.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jesse Salmeron

Ending Our Festival Run in Los Angeles

Friends,

It's been an incredible journey. Embarking on my next film, I realize--even more--how special Dreamer is. It is truly OUR film. YOU launched us and YOU brought us home. And I had true freedom knowing my community was behind me. Dreamer is special in every way.

Our final festival screening will be at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival. I have gotten to know quite a bit of you through this process, some on Facebook, some I was fortunate to meet in person. I hope I get to meet more of you this weekend at the festival. Here are the details:

In a few months, we'll be sending out the DVDs. We'll announce the date once it's confirmed.

I can never thank you enough.

Sincerely,

Imagen Award Nomination and International Premiere

Dear Friends,

Some more good news, Dreamer is nominated for Best Film and Jeremy Ray Valdez for a much deserved Best Actor award at this year's Imagen Awards. It is an honor to be nominated alongside such great projects. Here is a link to this year's list of nominations:

In addition, Dreamer will be having it's international premiere at the Oaxaca Film Festival in September:

Another script I wrote and am currently in pre-production on, The Father, The Son, has also been chosen for the festival's screenplay competition. Dreamer is just the beginning of my commitment to quality, meaningful films for our community.

After our festival run has ended, we will then begin to produce and distribute the DVDs. Thank you again for all your help.

Sincerely,

Jesse Salmeron
