We are Funded!! Stretch Goal 50K.
Wow, and thank you so much for all the support we have received during this process. We never imagined that as many folks would donate to this project as have and the response we have received from all over the country has been overwhelming. To think that we have funded this project with over 4 days left is incredible and we are besides ourself with joy and can't wait to begin validating and publishing the first of what we hope are many open source food safety plans.
Sous-Vide HACCP: Stretch Goal 50k.
Our next goal is to publish an open source Sous-Vide HACCP plan that can be used by restaurants. All health departments now require Restaurants that use Sous-Vide cooking to provide a HACCP plan. While there is some information out there for Chefs and Restaurants to use it is complicated and difficult to understand. Further, most restaurant owners and chefs don't have the time to fully research and write a full plan. Our hope is to publish a plan that can be used as a model for restaurants so that people can save time and follow safe practices. Please consider increasing your pledges to meet our stretch goal or contributing to the project if you have not yet. Thanks again for all your support thus far, its been a truly humbling experience.
