- Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) has been added to the LIQUIDIAMOND® matrix alloy that comprises the knife edge. Multiple layers of micron scale coatings achieve both extreme durability and toughness.

- The metal tang of the knife in the corner with the lanyard hole was relatively sharp and could cause a hand to blister with use. The solution is to move the lanyard hole in and away from the edges slightly and radius that back corner so it is fully rounded.

Few things in life ever go 100% according to plan. When you are doing something new, you are always learning new lessons. However, our team has many years of combined experience in manufacturing and dealing with issues that arise, so we are highly confident that we will be able to deliver these knives on time.
Making knives requires having the correct materials and the necessary labor. There can always be unforeseen issues with both. But we have tried to account for this by choosing a reasonable delivery time envelope and having a backup manufacturer in case it is needed.
