The wooden card chest can accommodate about 750 cards. In the middle of the box, you can use several removable compartments for dice, instead of the card separator. The box is made of laser-cut wood and shows one of several iconic motives from the The Dark Eye universe on the top flap and the Aventuria and The Dark Eye logo on the sides. A Map of the fantasy realm Aventuria from the Dark Eye RPG. Produced under licence with images from the hugely popular fantasy game. Versatile, compact hobby wrap; can hold more than 100 polyhedral dice, plus up to 10 pens and pencils, as well as index cards or a small notepad.

This square folding dice tray, made from quality printed neoprene - similar to a trading card game playmat or a mouse mat. Plastic snaps on the corners allow you to pinch the edges to create a tray to soften the clatter of dice and contain your rolls. When stowed away, fold in half and use the snaps for a narrow, wallet-like profile that fits perfectly inside an All Rolled Up, your bag, or game box.

Aventuria is a vast and detailed continent and a world in need of heroes. The heart of Aventuria is the Middenrealm, an empire nominally ruled by the young Empress Rohaja but in reality controlled by powerful regional lords and ladies. It is a land where knights and daring heroes fight for the order of the gods and grim dwarves delve their mines and subterranean cities deep in the mountains.
Some years ago, human servants of the dreaded archdemons conquered a province of the Middenrealm. Now called the Shadowlands, this haunted realm is home to demon summoners and necromancers. The Middenrealm remains ever vigilant for signs that the armies of the Shadowlands are once again on the move.
The progressive Horasian Empire, home to artists and poets, lies south of the Middenrealm. The cities of this fertile land are ruled by patricians, nobles, and councilors who strive constantly to outdo or weaken their rivals via intrigue.
The orcs of Aventuria make their home in the Orclands, steppes that stretch along the northwestern border of the Middenrealm.
Thorwal lies west of the Orclands. The Thorwalers are brave seafarers who enjoy a reputation as feared pirates. Emboldened by their whale-god, Swafnir, the longboats of the Thorwalers threaten much of the western coast of Aventuria.
Further south lies the Empire of Al’Anfa. Its capital of the same name, called the Boil of the South by some, is a city of decadence and intrigue where a stranger’s life is worth only what it can fetch in the slave markets.
Novadi tribes rule the huge Khôm Desert that lies east of the Horasian Empire, beyond the mountains. Even further east, sultans and emirs rule over the Lands of the Tulamydes.
The northern forests and steppes surrounding the Salamander Stones are the traditional homelands of the elves. Beloved for their beauty and grace but feared for their sometimes cruel treatment of invaders, elves are magical beings who seem to be born from light.
The Dark Eye derives its name from the most intriguing magical artifacts in Aventuria—the Dark Eyes. These rare and powerful magical items allow users to view far away places and glimpse scenes from the distant past. Creating such an artifact calls for very powerful magic and a sizable quantity of raw meteoritic iron. Few spellcasters have ever mastered the necessary enchantments. When completed successfully, the iron assumes the form of an orb or an eye.
The Dark Eye uses a unique, time-tested game system refined over decades of continuous play. The designers honed the feedback of thousands of players into the most balanced and playable version of The Dark Eye yet!
The Dark Eye incorporates module rules, as well, where general rules can be set aside for more in-depth rules when warranted by the situation. These focused rules offer more realistic options when such detail is wanted, but need not encumber the game when they are not.
The game system lets your group play any game style they prefer, be it a fun, quick dungeon crawl or a more elaborate storytelling session, or they can play The Dark Eye as an immersive simulation game. The game rules offer depth and detail, yet they are still fast to learn.

Ulisses Spiele started to develop and publish it´s own games since 1997. In 2007 the opportunity arose to acquire Germanys iconic and most popular RPG system: “Das Schwarze Auge” (“The Dark Eye”) and a list of other internationally very successful games where added to the publishing portfolio: Pathfinder, World of Darkness, Dungeons & Dragons, Savage Worlds and other games. The latest addition is HeXXen 1733, an original RPG developed by Ulisses Spiele.
Since 2015, Ulisses Spiele has hosted several crowdfunding campaigns for special projects that could not be implemented without the direct support of fans and customers. On social media and with streaming different RPGs Ulisses is keeping in touch with its fans.
Ulisses Spiele was awarded numerous prizes for their games including the Silver ENnie award for The Dark Eye – Aventuria Almanac for the best setting, one of the most prestigious international role-playing awards.
Working in the hobby games industry since he turned 18, Markus started out as a salesman for WDS, at that time the premiere RPG distributor in Germany. After his apprenticeship he left to study economics but could not keep himself from reentering the games industry, despite his best efforts. He bought “Ulisses Spiele,” a tiny games distributor and over a span of 20 years managed to change a humble store with no employees into one of the leading hobby games companies in Germany.
Niko discovered The Dark Eye as a child in the late 80s. Even if he has been taking trips to other roleplaying games and their world since the 90s, The Dark Eye always remained his home as a role player. 2011 another author recruited Niko as a GM for a big convention event and soon after as an author for a major campaign. One thing came to another and by the end of 2015 Niko left his career as a teacher and marine biologist to become editor in chief and line developer of The Dark Eye for Ulisses Spiele.
In the year 1991 Nadine Schäkel was born in a region where you know it is summer because the rain is getting warmer. The north of Germany. Still she has a sunny disposition and a healthy dose of forwardness. Because no one could convince her to give up the dream of doing “something creative” with her life, she got an education at the HTK Academy of Design in Hamburg and finished with honors. At Ulisses Spiele she is the art director and the person to talk to about anything relating to images.
As a kid, Alex Spohr discovered the second edition box set of “Die Helden des Schwarzen Auges” in a toy store and has been captivated by the fantastic world of Aventuria ever since. With the help of a teacher who had been playing the game since it first edition, Alex and his classmates rolled their first d20s and created their first characters while on a class trip. After defeating an evil wizard, he knew he wanted to contribute to the game, and he has since gone on to write and edit adventures, and eventually became one of the designers for the current edition of the rules. Alex still plays almost every weekend with his friends from that fateful class trip.

The fees for shipping will be added in the pledge manager after the campaign is finished. We have four distribution centers, shipping from the US, Germany, China and Australia. The cost of shipping will be determined at the moment of distribution not purchase, should rates change in the meantime.
We are located in Germany, which means we have to enter our prices in Euro. Because of this the dollar values might be off by a few cents. We always adjusted the prices to your advantage.
Risks and challenges
We are always working to improve our fulfillment processes, and we expect this campaign to fulfill more smoothly than previous campaigns. That said, translated products always require additional steps, and sometimes unexpected delays can occur during the steps that are out of our hands.
