STONE DAZE is a family game of tactics, cooperation, raw guts and a little luck. Our intent was to create a game with easy rules but with tactical depth that would be a fulfilling gaming experience for many years to come. With STONE DAZE we achieved this and we are sure you will enjoy it as much as our play testers did.
- 2 - 4 players
- ages 10+
- Takes about 60 minutes to play.
Can you outwit the rival clan? Would you reach their sacred place in time? Plan ahead with your team mate, make good use of your characters' special abilities, throw your clubs effectively, and your clan just might make it and stay in the place you call home...
We made a great effort not only to create an excellent game, but also to provide a great gaming experience.
As you can see below many components are made of wood - real wood. Rock mounds, Panel Stands, Sacred Places, custom made characters and most importantly the clubs, are all real wood which makes them have a great feel in your hands and a great look to the eye.
The Panels are a different story all together. If you want to check out what "magnetic panels" means, check out the clip below...
The game could be played either by two players facing each other or in two teams.
In STONE DAZE you lead a clan of seven cavemen and women (each with special abilities) trying to gain control over the lovely valley they call HooHa. Your objective is to be the first to reach the rival clan's sacred place, and by doing so declare "This valley is ours!".
STONE DAZE is a simultaneous game played in multiple rounds, where each round is split between three main phases:
Now, Lets take a quick look at the clans. When playing more than two players, each player chooses the cavemen and women they wish to play, and players perform as a team.
We and our backers love the mammoth, so we've made this short clip:) - Mammoth on a rampage (SG#3):
We set our goal so that Stone Daze would be delivered by the coming holidays season. This being our 3rd campaign, we've learned a thing or two along the way. One thing's for sure - we always did our best to deliver on time:)

Stone Daze's control panels are great to handle
The panels feature a magnetic layer for smooth operation. As shown below they can be used as a metal detector if you need one :-)

Board Game Capital Review Highlights:
"...when we saw Stone Daze we were instantly excited ... and we're excited to share with you our experience with it ... Build quality was impressive and the game experience was fun and competitive ... Stone Daze is an excellent game! It's no simple board game where there is no thought involved. You'll be strategizing, planning, trying to out-think and outrun your opponent, best utilizing the fun action tokens all while avoiding the dreaded club to the head. Kudos to the game developers for making a great unique game with an engaging hands on experience ... " , Jayson, Board Game Capital

Risks and challenges
Stone Daze is our third kickstarter project following ELEMENTOS and FINAL ACT, so we've learned a thing or two along the way.
We minimized the risks and challenges by getting all the art and graphic work done (texts on the box would be edited a bit...). We came to terms with a quality manufacturer and the production line is set to go. We have also came to terms with a shipping/fulfillment operation. We will do our best to make sure this project is completed successfully and on time, as we did before. Having said that, we are aware that setbacks and mishaps might happen. We'll keep an open connection with our backers and keep you posted on how things progress.
