When the world’s greatest detective is violently murdered, her corporate-backed super team and former sidekick band together to bring her killer to justice. However, the mission goes terribly wrong, and before the night is out, each of the ten “heroes” will pay dearly for past transgressions.
THE RED TEN is a ten part mini-series created by writer Tyler James (Oxymoron, EPIC) and artist Cesar Feliciano (Ripperman), with stunning covers by Charles Paul Wilson, III (Stuff of Legend, Wraith). The book is colored by Gus Ucha, with inks by Vic Moya, and edited by Steve Forbes, Steve Colle, and Sam Lebas.
For the first time ever, we'd like to collect the completed first arc of THE RED TEN into a premium 144-page hardcover. This story was originally published by ComixTribe in magazine format as THE RED TEN #0-5.
Why Take THE RED TEN Hardcover to Kickstarter?
We're coming to Kickstarter in order to raise $7,500, the bare minimum needed to print a small run of a premium hardcover version of THE RED TEN Volume 1. The book is completely finished, and all creation costs have been paid for. This campaign will help off-set the large print costs associated with producing and shipping a hardcover. Any funds raised above $7.5K will help fund the completion of the second volume (THE RED TEN #6 is out in June!), and go toward making the book and campaign even better.
If successful, this Kickstarter campaign will also give us the opportunity to produce some awesome new THE RED TEN merchandise (t-shirts, posters, hoodies, and more!)

Risks and challenges
Having fulfilled two successful Kickstarters already, and consulted on several more, I'm well aware of the many challenges associated with delivering on a Kickstarter campaign. I’ve taken the following steps to mitigate the risk associated fulfilling this project:
1) The book is complete and ready to go to print right now. This means digital rewards can go out immediately after the campaign ends, and we can begin the printing process as soon as funding is secured.
2) Our printer is reliable! We’re working with Trivision, a well-respected print shop that does books for Image, IDW, Th3rdWorld Studios and more. To date, ComixTribe has printed more than 17,500 copies of comic books with Trivision, and they’ve never let us down.
