Hello Backers & Friends!
Welcome to our August update. Here are the headlines for this month, with more details in our Design Blog below.
We're still on track to start shipping in the US around September 25th. Once all of the shipping containers are launched we'll be able to determine more accurate ship dates within each region of the world. 812 ID cards and missions will be sent concurrently with the fulfillment of rewards but separately via snail mail.
Deadline to Confirm Shipping
The deadline to confirm your rewards address is September 9th. Need to change your address? Here's how to do it.
If you are one of the surprising number of people who are moving outside of the US in the coming months and are waiting on a country of shipment change you will get a follow up by Friday.
If you were deployed and will be returning home by the end of September- welcome home & thank you for serving!

In the last month, we've been tracking 23 different shipments to five warehouse locations in four different countries. There were a few delivery hiccups that made us very happy that we have a little buffer of time to make sure all of these are processed by the warehouses before the games arrive. No one at Game Company University tells you how important it is to have a track record of being a communicative customer with your warehouse partner but it will save your bacon one day. A few of these shipments arrived without us giving them fair warning and information and head of accounts Karlee at Blackbox smoothed things out for us. In many cases, If you send your warehouse shipments by surprise it can get turned away and incur lots of costs and losses. Let the record show that I owe Karlee Esmailli from BlackBox a few drinks at GenCon.
Many of our game components have already been produced by the plant, these little suckers are among some of the last components that need to finish production before all of the components are assembled, packed and shipped. We received the physical proof for each token last week and the pictures are above. In their final form each token will be given an aged bronze-like finish and polished. I love the weight of some of them and can't wait to see them in their final form.
There are what feels like a thousand plates we're spinning at the moment, and therefore a thousand other things I could share in this months blog. However, we've got less than a week before we head out on our road tour so I'm keeping this production blog on the short side. If there are any questions unanswered from this update or that you have in general please feel free to ask away in the comments below.
Thanks for helping to make all of this amazing stuff happen, backers!
