Thank You, and What Happens Next
In 2009, Carson Ellis and Autumn de Wilde created a mysterious board. Last Thanksgiving Keith played the first early prototype of the game with his father. Today, nearly six thousand of you are making this game a reality.
We have a lot of people to thank in the days ahead, but for now, thanks to all of you for putting your faith in us and helping to make Illimat a reality.
What Happens Next?
We're making our final decisions about whether we'll implement a pledge manager tool (which organizes all of the add-on dollars, surveys, and shipping address info). Once this is resolved we'll be able to give you an accurate estimate of when you'll get your survey to confirm your pledge. We'll confirm the 812 at that time as well.
On the game-making front, we'll be completing pre-production work over the next two months. This includes designing okus tokens, finalizing the design of the box and board, refining the rules and writing Variants and Apocrypha. We'll also be working on the Society of Luminaries, but the Society won't become active until closer to the release of the game in 2017.
What we kindly ask of you now...
One of the most important things we need from you now is to know how often you'd like to hear from us with project updates. Please let us know by selecting an answer on this straw poll. Kickstarter will now collect your pledges- so please make sure your billing information on your profile is correct & up to date.
Beyond that, you don't need to do anything. Thanks again for your help, and we look forward to playing Illimat in 2017!
