The thickness of the wall on the wider end is around 0.4mm and gradually increase to 0.6mm on the narrow tip end. The TWINZ chopsticks are designed to be hollow for a few good reason; not only do they accomplish our main goal of creating a lighter chopstick variant that promotes EDC (and will ultimately reduce the necessity of disposable chopsticks), they also minimize the amount of heat transfer to the chopsticks. For example, when dining on foods like hot pot, Korean BBQ, shabu shabu, etc, the chopsticks themselves do not allow for nearly as much heat transfer as solid variants. This creates a more comfortable dining experience with minimized risk.
