I am approaching Kickstarter to help fund the printing, production and distribution of "Twenty Four Hour Woman", a one-a-day calendar not unlike the popular "Far Side" calendars of the 80's. It’s a simple idea that is meant to celebrate the woman caught in the act of whatever it is she is doing, one day at a time. This nude series started as an exercise a few years ago in my studio as a way to warm up my brain, get my hand moving and help ease any seriousness that might have been floating around. Each day of this 5" X 4" (approx.) tear-off calendar contains a different little drawing of a naked lady doing something different for every day of the year. I have spent the last year and a half illustrating the limitless list of activities and tasks and have done my best to do so with love and honesty.
What it's going to look like (with a plastic easel backing):
As of today, all 365 ladies have been drawn. I have enlisted the help of the talented Malcolm Buick to design the layout and create that classy logo, and the calendar is ready to be printed. I am asking you to help me raise the money necessary to get this calendar printed and realized. If it's successful, that will mean more calendars and things like it in the future!
If you decide to back this project, there are many different rewards that are listed over there on the right (*please note that some rewards have a limited number available). If you like what you see, and would like to help me out, I will be forever grateful. I truly believe that these little calendars could make a lot of people a little bit happier everyday.
This is fun! A naked lady doing something on your desk EVERYDAY!! Please help me pull this off. I want one of these calendars on as many desks as possible in 2013. Remember Ziggy? YES!
