Exquisite Beast is a game of mad scientists, minions, monstrosities, angry peasant mobs, lightning bolts, and wanton property destruction for 2-4 players aged 10 and up.
In it, each player is a mad scientist sitting pretty in their castle, high above the quiet valley town of Peasantville. However, the peasants have grown weary of their be-castled overlords and are plotting to drive you out. In order to protect yourself, and incidentally take control of the town from all the other imposter mad scientists in their clearly inferior castles, you dispatch your minions out to various arcane and dangerous locations to collect the remains of great fallen beasts of legend.
Once you have gathered a suitable collection of parts, assuming the weather is cooperative and provides a convenient lightning bolt, you can animate your stitched together Beast and go wreak havoc on both the peasants and your rival mad scientists' servants and creations.
Play consists of a series of phases. First, the storm forecast for the day is determined; if a thunderstorm hits players get the opportunity to animate their beasts (assuming they aren't already out and about causing havoc, of course). Next, the Angry Mob recruits another villager, gaining increased Attack, Health, or other various abilities, then goes hunting down the players Beasts and Minions.
The meat of the game occurs in the next phase, where players get to move their minions and beasts around as well as fight each other, the mob, and the town centre. Players primarily score victory points by defeating other beasts, the mob, and capturing town centre locations; although you can also choose to tear a limb off of a defeated beast for inclusion in your own creation rather than scoring points!
Minions that survive the rampaging beasts and the ire of the mob get to activate special locations around the board at the end of the turn, collecting beast parts for their masters, recruiting additional minions, making black market deals, and performing a variety of other actions.
Finally, if your beast is on the slab in your castle, either because it has not yet animated or because it was defeated by a foe, you may pull old limbs off or stitch new limbs on in order to prepare it for its next rampage!

Unfortunately we are not able to promise worldwide distribution from launch, but we are able to cover the United States, Canada, and most of Europe. We hope to be able to ensure worldwide delivery for Exquisite Beast through our webstore, and our other games through Kickstarter and our webstore, in the future.
Risks and challenges
While we have sorted out a manufacturer and our logistics, there is always a risk of delays in manufacturing, shipping, or customs. As such, while we have set a conservative delivery date, unforseen circumstances may cause delays in delivery. Due to shipping from multiple distribution centres, some customers will most likely recieve their copies of the game a few days before others.
Also, as a disclaimer, all of the art and components previewed in the campaign are prototypes or from demo print runs. While we don't expect these to change much, some variation in the final production run is to be anticipated.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
