Who we are:
We started out as a humble family band from Kansas City who just wanted to play music. It’s in our blood - as important to us as food and water. We grew up immersed in the local blues scene and developed a deep appreciation and passion for the music. Each of us dreamed of making a living from playing music, but after we won the International Blues Challenge in 2008, we realized it could really be possible. Almost 5 years later, with the love and support of so many of our fans and friends, we’ve had the opportunity to tour the world, sharing our music and keeping the blues alive.
We’re so proud of the fact that we’ve never needed the help of a record label to spread our music. We’ve been offered deals, but we always felt that a label would create a barrier between us and our fans. Our band wouldn’t have succeeded without you, so why complicate things by bringing in a middleman? We discovered Kickstarter and instantly knew it was the perfect platform for us to continue to grow in the way we always intended – organically. So here we are: Tony Braunagel, the amazing producer of our last album is back on board, the songs are all written and now we’re ready to record. With your help, we’ll be able to achieve our goal of releasing this album on our terms, no label, just you and us.
Why we want your help:
It’s been 2 years since we recorded our last album and so much has happened to us since then, both as a band and as individuals. Through it all, the one thing that has remained constant is the amazing support from you, our friends and fans, so we thought it would be fun to get you more involved in the creation of our new record. For us, the most exciting part of using Kickstarter is it gives us the chance to show our appreciation for your support in a personal way.
Your pledges will be used to:
• help cover recording costs (studio time, producer, mixing and mastering)
• pay for the manufacturing and packaging of the album
• hire a publicist to help us share our music and keep the blues alive!
• any money we raise beyond our goal will be used for marketing and promotion
By pledging to our Kickstarter campaign, you’re supporting the creation of our new album and helping us to keep the blues alive.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest risk is obviously not reaching our goal and delaying the release of our album. Our biggest challenge is being able to reach all of our fans who have been so supportive over the years.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
