Shipments resuming: May 2 update
Dear Daybook backers,
I apologize for the April disappearance. Dissertation proposal time turned out to be considerably more involved than I had hoped for at the end of the process, and I spent the last month doing literally nothing but finishing that process along with my qualifying examinations. On the plus side, it is now over.
I'm going over the two databases I have for the Daybook (Kickstarter backers in one, and egyptiandaybook.com backers in the other) to double check on the published counts of shipments. There may be more than are listed. (in no case will there be less than I've already posted, but a few more books may have gone out than were recorded, due to a spreadsheet crash in late March). I am still a one-person-show when it comes to packing and shipping, and I am not able to do this 24/7 as I am currently freelancing to make ends meet, so I will be doing as much as I can to get this completed. Zigzag is just as frustrated with a living room still having too many boxes of books in it as you are with not having your hard copies yet, so I'm going to try to get more of them out faster. Thank you so very much for your ongoing understanding. I have learned so many lessons from this Kickstarter (and a big one is around distribution).
Some good news: the weirdness with the egyptiandaybook.com website not giving people the access link to download ebooks they purchased has been fixed, and that should be working for everyone now. If you should read this and you ordered an ebook but couldn't get it for some reason, please contact me and I will get you a coupon code to re-download it from the digital library. Everyone who backed the Kickstarter is entitled to an ebook, even if your tier didn't provide you one, because of the delay in publication, as my gift.
Updates with tracking as I send things out!
