This is what the paperback looks like....
It looks great! Some small changes had to be made for layout, but otherwise, it's a nice, sturdy, thick 360-page paperback.
Good news: the paperbacks, hardbacks, and coil bound versions of the book are being printed!
Not as good news: because of December schedules around shipping and printing, I am sad that they won't arrive this week but I'm hoping to start seeing them - and immediately begin shipping them - before the end of the year. I'll keep everyone updated.
Related good news: I WILL be getting the e-book version out to you this week. Currently working on a way that this can be done with digital downloads so you can all have them faster than me manually emailing you a copy. This will also provide the option of a PDF version or an EPUB version. The PDF looks exactly like the printed books, with the full color cover and the beautiful art by Megan at full size inside. Sadly the EPUB is not that awesome, because it's an EPUB, though all the text is there and so is the art, it's just smaller and the layout isn't quite as beautiful. It does, however, work on all ebook readers.
As soon as I have information on how you will get your ebooks that will happen. Hoping that'll be by tomorrow evening - still working on it tonight to make it happen. Shipping and mailing will also be happening as soon as the boxes of books start arriving, and it'll be by backer number, with Kickstarters first and Egyptiandaybook.com preorders immediately after.
Kickstarters - if you have not yet returned your survey - do it! I need your information updated so you can get your things as quickly as possible. If you were one of the three people who asked about refunds of your tiers or the handful of people who want to change your tiers and you haven't heard from me yet, I have a list. If you have not gotten an email by Wednesday morning (December 21) please email me at tamara @ tamarasiuda dot com, or message me here. We will get things sorted out for you!
If you'd like to nominate a library for our stretch goal, you can still do that as well.
We are so excited! (Well, I'm excited. Looking at Zig up there in that photo, maybe he's not as excited.) It looks great...and it's on the way!
