One More Thing...

Before unveiling something special, Steve Jobs delighted us at Apple presentations with “Just one more thing”. Similarly, at LaCie, our product development always had at least one more thing. A lot of the time, that one thing was a software enhancement to deliver improved performance for our hardware innovation. Some of you may remember LaCie’s Silverlining software – the standard!

It gives me great pleasure to announce the new Trygger Camera App, with Pro Level Control. Our connected App will enhance the use of the Camera Case to make better photos. The Trygger app is the result of an integrated software and hardware design to simplify taking pictures. For example, the App offers a calibration function aligned with the polarizing filter. We scan the image in real time and create a histogram behind the scene. As you rotate the polarizer, the histogram shifts while the contrast changes and we let you know by a sound cue when to take the best picture. This will be especially helpful when taking pictures in sunlight when it is difficult to see the screen. Scheduled for delivery this fall, the Trygger Camera App will be Free for Trygger Camera Case owners.

Here is an early look.

Your Camera Case will work great without the Trygger Filter App, but it will work even better with it. Follow Trygger or Twitter for more news about this Fall release and Trygger, like us on Facebook at Trygger above or on our Kickstarter project.

Please help spread the news about Trygger and Tip your favorite blog about the Trygger Camera App.

I received my case in the mail yesterday. Very cool. Went looking for the app but couldn't find it. Has it been shelved? Thanks!

@All - I removed theFB link. I have no idea why it works for some and not others. You can FB like us on this project or on our home page. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Same here, on Chrome. Redirects me to my own page, doesn't work with me being logged in with my personal account or as a page.

@Iaan, I'm sorry but I cannot reproduce the error - www.facebook.com/TryggerLLC works fine for us. I will do some more research, but at the moment I don't have a workaround.

Scott and Joel, before I forget: your app looks awesome! It will make using the trigger case so much more valuable! I am twice as happy having made my pledge and twice as eager to get my hands on it!

On the Facebook link: even going directly to https://www.facebook.com/TryggerLLC in safari doesn't seem to work for me?! Very strange. Better luck tomorrow ;-)
