A lot has been happening since you last heard from us! We want you to know that the film is progressing well. We have a dynamic rough cut that's just under 3 hours; our goal is to get it close to 90 minutes. Trotsky's life is stunningly dramatic yet politically complex, so we're working to keep the film engaging and accessible to a general audience, with something new to the cognoscenti.

Thanks for your support and patience, we think it will be worth the wait.

I would greatly appreciate getting the rough cut and would be willing to pay a bit more for it.

Thank you for the update, I'm sure many were wondering about progress. I'm sure many eagerly await the finished film, but as the old adage says "patience is a virtue". I must agree about releasing the rough cut as well, I'd gladly contribute more to help offset any additional cost. It provides a rare glimpse into one of the most influential men of the 20th century. In the current political climate there couldn't be a better time for the film to come to the fruition.

I think it would be a good idea to release the rough cut as well as the finished product. There will be footage many of us haven't seen. If that means asking people for a bit extra money that shouldn't be a problem.
