ALBERT THE ALIEN is the first foreign exchange student from another planet...and he's run away from Earth!
It has been several weeks since Albert left our planet, and life on Earth is quite different without him. The principal has been replaced by government agents. Robots are teaching classes. And Gerty has been obsessing over trying to get Albert to come home, completely unaware of the danger looming just a few planets away. While Albert has befriended other runaway alien kids on a planet, he quickly discovers this group is not exactly what they appear.
Hounded by evil intergalactic space pirates, dodging hungry alien monsters, and piloting giant robots battling on the moon, Albert's adventure to return home and save Earth may very well be his last.
ALBERT THE ALIEN is an alien from the planet Xevon VII, and is the first intergalactic exchange student on Earth. He’s very excited to learn everything there is about human culture and our planet – and sometimes his excitement gets the better of him, as he doesn’t often “look before he leaps.”
He enjoys video games, pizza, and space surfing around asteroid belts. He currently lives with his homestay family, the Greysons, and is best friends with their daughter Gerty.
GERTY GREYSON is a normal everyday human girl – who dreams about outer space! Her father is an astronaut, and her mother is a rocket scientist, so Gerty is very smart and interested in all things space and science. She often acts as the voice of reason for Albert, trying to keep his crazy antics from getting him into trouble. She also sticks up for him from the school bully, Wally McNally.
WALLY McNALLY is the meanest kid in school, and has decided to pick on every kid who is different from him – which is everyone! He particularly doesn’t like Albert, and goes out of his way to terrorize him on a regular basis with his two goons in tow, Lugg and Ugg. However, Wally isn’t exactly the brightest bulb in the box, and is usually thwarted by his own actions in an often hilarious and embarrassing manner.
Albert the Alien is just a normal everyday kid…from another planet! He’s come to Earth to learn about humans as the first intergalactic foreign exchange student. And when Albert’s involved, even the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
Gabo and I started Albert the Alien as a webcomic series, which has been nominated for BEST ONLINE COMIC in the Harvey Awards two years in a row!
Each year, we've produced a graphic novel collecting 150-200 pages worth of stories (including exclusive bonus content), all of which have been successfully funded right here on Kickstarter! And now it's time to wrap up those stories - and this is the volume that finishes it off!
This volume of Albert the Alien collects the final chapters of our story, with over 150 full color pages of sci-fi adventure. It will include:
- The full 125 page adventure, finishing off the main story
- Bonus stories from Gabo, and guest artists
- Pin-ups from top-tier talent
- Behind the scenes stuff from Gabo and I
- ...and so much more!
This comic book is 98% finished (it's done, I just need to finish putting it together), and we just need this money from Kickstarter to help pay for the printing and shipping the books to you - our fans!
Along the way, we're going to giving you guys some bonus items in your reward tiers. Even if you only back at the $5 reward level, EVERYONE will receive these awesome digital downloads, like:

Risks and challenges
The book is done, and we're going to print it whether the campaign is successful or not. We've done this three times for this series so far, and have been successful every time.
That said, there is always the possibility some aspects outside of our control that may delay the project. I will keep everyone informed of the status of the project throughout the process, and communicate any delays should they occur.
I want this book out more than anyone, and I can't wait to hold a copy of it in my hands. And more importantly, I can't wait for YOU to hold one in YOURS. Thanks so much for your support.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
