Epic Platform Pack - Proof is in the Pudding!

You demanded the Epic Platform Pack with your pledges and helped us cross the line to that big stretch goal! Now it’s time for us to show you that we are making progress on delivering. Just watch this video! You’ll see that we have taken the first big steps for Heroes of Steel. Of course, we are building up from the foundation on the new game engine, so there is so much more work to do.  But we have completed our first big goals to prove we can do it!

Thanks again to everyone who completed their backer surveys. For those of you who did not, please message me in KickStarter with your answers any time. We are going to work hard on getting every single reward delivered in a timely fashion, so we aren't leaving you behind, even if you missed the survey opportunity! You’re still our backer, and we are in this together!

One more time, we wanted thank you for making our project such a success. Not only did all of our backers help us reach three of our most important stretch goals, but everyone worked hard to make sure we got all the pledges collected. Out of $20,398 only $32 failed (that’s an amazing 0.1% failure rate) to be collected for the project. So, you have equipped us with exactly what we need to make Heroes of Steel and all the stretch goals a major success!

Finally, we are going to retire the PayPal page for Heroes of Steel early next week. There are still a few more pledges coming through weekly, so we are leaving it up for anyone who still wants to get in on the game. Since we have a long run-way to deliver, there is still time. Tell any of your friends who are wishing they had got in on the KickStarter while it was still open!

Thanks for all the compliments! Where our existing games use a 3 frame animation for a walking, this character use 13 different frames animated together. I am not sure if we will keep that many frames in the final game, but we will definitely be doubling or more the frames in use!

@bill - We will be building in gamepad support for the OUYA. That means we will need it for the Android build. Depending on the game engine's capabilities, we might be able to provide this more universally.

Very stoked about this, guys. Have you considered adding any basic gamepad support for some of the platforms?
