Journey. Adventure. Opportunity.

We are proud and excited to announce our double-time hard work has paid off! We have been selected as one of only 25 speakers this year at the Angel Capital Summit here in Denver!

We thank you for patience with our lack of updates as we progressed through the ACS selection process, and the support we have received around the world! It has been a fantastic adventure with you thus far, and we are ready and excited for this huge next step!

In addition, we would like to thank the Rockies Venture Club for their guidance and support of TrekPak and its management team. It has been a privilege working with them, and we look forward to writing our future!

Hey TrekPak, why the radio silence?

It has been quite a few weeks since I have been able to update you, and as a member of this intense, exciting, stressful, and incredible journey, I would like to reassure you that we feel and understand the frustrations you have.

Since the beginning, we have made a conscious effort to keep you updated on our continuing progress. Having backed Kickstarter projects personally, we understand and value the comfort and obligation that come with these regular updates. I wish we could share more information on the efforts and pitfalls in business structure setup, the R&D process, our manufacturing techniques, various material challenges, etc. and would like to sincerely thank you for understanding that protection of intellectual property and trade secrets associated with this process are an unfortunate downside to product business startup.

Rather than hand making all our pledge rewards out of hobby shop materials during the summer of 2012 and then pursuing business startup post-pledge shipment, we felt you deserved to receive the same quality TrekPak others would be able to purchase in the future. This meant delaying our shipment dates, taking extra R&D time to allow product warranties, file intellectual property applications, layout company structure and financial groundwork, etc. We are continuing to work 120 hrs/wk as an unpaid 3-man team to honor the commitments we made to you, commitments made to TrekPak and ourselves, and keep all manufacturing and material supply here in the USA.

Due to unwavering support, complete commitment to this journey from my co-founder and me in spite of roadblocks, additional financial investment from friends and family, and careful oversight by a volunteer advisory board of respected industry professionals, we are slowly but surely conquering the process of extreme bootstrap business startup. In addition to product development and manufacturing of your pledge, my co-founder and I have had to spend significant time and energy in searching and applying for additional small business startup capital. We appreciate and value your trust in us, and patience with changes in the projected timeline.

My team and I thank you and our 318 other backers for hanging in with us, and helping us take a creative idea and turning it into a product which others around the world will be able to purchase and enjoy.
