Dear Kickstarters,

Final testing on the production units is completed and late this week we will begin our initial shipments of TOUCH TIME. It will take a couple months to complete all unit shipments, but by next week our Kickstarters supporters will begin to receive the product they helped us create which is unlike any product in the market today. 

We appreciate your patience, and hope you will enjoy your TOUCH TIME watch once received. We look forward to feedback and comments on product once received, and believe the quality of workmanship, design and material finish, and overall functionality will meet your expectations.

      Depending upon how you are accessing the project will make little difference, at the top of the page you should see a reference to the project. Click or tap it if your on a mobile device.

      Then keep tapping or clicking the project header/logo until you can see comments and updates then click the comments instead of the updates link. It will say something along the line of 2500 comments.

      I would really recommend that you view and post your comments on the main comments page not under these updates as there is more information flowing there.

      I really would like them to take the time to answer to each and every one of us in a personal manner trough an email or so, i feel lost and starting to get angry because i just simple dont know where its my watch. Really this is by far the worst buy I have ever done, trusting some that doesnt answer my question in time.

      By the way, I'm ethnic Chinese and from a Southeast Asian country with a big Chinese community and I just want to point out that the "everything shuts down for several weeks" thing is real and not just Phosphor making excuses. It's like the couple of weeks around Christmas-New Year's in Western countries.

      I got mine on Friday 14 Feb and it looks great. Mine is the slightly more pricey one with the stainless steel mesh band. Everything seems to be working. I'm really happy as it fulfills my need for a digital watch that looks classy and has a countdown timer because I'm a wet-lab biologist.

      The only 3 things I don't like are
      a) the screen protector had a couple of small bubbles - not a big deal really as I was able to push them out
      b) The touchscreen is not as sensitive as it should be, but this may be another screen protector issue. At some point I think I want to get a good-quality smartphone screen protector and cut it into little pieces for this.
      c) None of the clock displays have seconds, which I didn't realise from the prototype photos and videos. I wonder if this was left out due to power consumption for updating the display.

      As everybody else has experienced, Phosphor customer support is incredibly slow and unresponsive. I sent them several frantic messages on Kickstarter and email because I had moved house within Singapore and then to the USA in the intervening time and was really worried that they would send it to my old-old address (Singapore Post sucks at mail forwarding). However they did eventually get back to me to confirm my new address and refunded the $25 international shipping fee.

      Has anyone besides Brian Cooke and Moose Man received their watches? I was expecting to see more comments about watches received. The latest message from Donald B said that it would take two months for everyone to get their watches. That was on January 13 which was more than a month ago. So I would expect that many people received their watches in that first month. Was I wrong? Why haven't we heard from people who received their watches and why haven't we gotten another update from Donald B?

      Donald, do you read these messages from your backers? We need to hear from you.

      Donald there seems to be problems with shipping and info re, these problems! No positive comments since 22 Jan. still waiting for delivery at this address too....
      Can you PLEASE provide us with a further up-date on what is happening and delivery dates?

      Does anyone have any reliable sources as to when these items will be shipping to the backers in the the U.S. I know the memo update indicated months ? but that again is seemingly hard to believe after all of the time that has passed.

      Are the shipments based upon finished models available from China ? An exact time frame would be oh so nice, it has also taught me a very valuable lesson.................

      We will be checking with you regarding shipping address before shipment. Our fulfillment process is based simply on different styles being received as we go through each of the backer reports. Now that we are shipping our final production units we are pushing on deliveries from the factory, but Chinese New Year starts in a few weeks and it will slow down production as all staff leaves for several weeks, and many don't return after Chinese New Year (CNY) resulting in a slow down in production deliveries shortly after CNY.

      Earlier today I received a request from Mr. Brewer (through Kickstarter). I was asked to confirm my shipping address. A few moments ago, I received the tracking number for the shipment. Shipments have begun!

      I would imagine therefore that based upon my post below that Phosphor will confirm your shipping address in a similar fashion.

      My address has not changed in the period and I have not sent any emails to Phosphor so they appear to be sending prior to shipments based upon your KS email address.

      I really hope that the list is not based off who has been commenting. I have just been sitting on my hands, trying to not express my frustration. I don't think that is a good reason to make me wait even longer.

      Yes! I recently got a larger smartphone that makes it cumbersome to just check the time. I am excited to get something sophisticated on my wrist with time, date, stopwatch... Can't wait!

      It's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. They even updated the order page on their website from January 2014 to early 2014: . Better late than never. At least it looks like it's further away from a Wolf in Wall Street situation. We are getting something material from this investment unlike those poor investors in the movie.

      Donald, I moved to another country in the intervening time and I NEED TO UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS. I have emailed at least twice about this but have not gotten a response. Would you kindly ask the customer support team to check and make sure that my reward ships to the correct address, AND email me to confirm? Thank you.

      Good job Donald my old chum although I was hoping that this would be delayed again as I may receive my Omate watch soon. I can just imagine my partner asking why have I bought another two watches. This project is almost as old as my daughter. I think i shall name it Chiara Time.

      Well we've made it! It's been a long slog but the end is now in sight! Will I Kickstart anything in the future? Products? Maybe more likely no, games definitely no.

      The watches are looking pretty hot in the packaging there.

      This is great news!

      If the time had not invested to solve the battery issue, this comment board today would be full of statements like "looks good and works well but battery life sucks." I'm glad to have "invested" the extra time.

      I'll be checking the PO box twice each day...

      This sounds like good news. Let's see how long a couple of months to ship all of the watches really is. May we all get our watches soon and may we all be happy with them.
