I am writing an iBook on physics. This book is going to be very interactive with 3D animations, interactive graphics, and a great look.
I am writing an interactive physics iBook for the iPad. I have always dreamed of writing a book, but have never set off on the course. When I saw iBooks Author and that book publishing was now in the hands of a regular person with a dream, I jumped! My love for graphics and animation combined with my love of teaching physics could now come to fruition. This book will be like no other physics book before it. There will be 3D fly-throughs of the physics equations and interactions, interactive quizzes, physics simulations, and readable text that is not overly technical.
The book you are currently funding is the Electric Field portion of the book. I will complete the Electric Field book and publish it. My ultimate goal is to publish a series of small books on specific physics units until the final book is complete.
Thank you so much for considering a donation to the book. All donations large and small will be celebrated on the website, will be listed as a supporter in the book, and will receive free updates to the book forever.
No. My podcast Beautiful Places in HD has 2.5 million downloads a year and I get very little to sustain the show. If you like something, you should help a little to keep it going. The book will be dirt cheap compared to what the publishing companies are charging. Like a couple bucks.
This book will be free for students, however. The copyright page is very clear that use by students and classes is free and teachers are able to pass out the book freely.
