A closer look at the Bounties.

Posted by Tony Go (Creator)

Hunters of Arcfall is over 200 backers! Way to go everyone! This is a good time to take a closer look at the Bounties in Hunters of Arcfall.

A hunter is always prepared for whatever his or her mark is. We have uploaded a diagram of some of the things you can expect while on the hunt. While there will always be a few surprises out there in the land of Arcfall, this will at least keep your vitals up- the rest is up to you.

The image gets downscaled for this blog so check out a larger image here.

On Design: You might have noticed that the Hunter cards have edge to edge artwork while the Bounty cards have a black border. Why is this? The answer is pretty simple: Edge to edge artwork on the cards in the Bounty deck run the risk of being identified by looking at the side and edges of the card. In a game where not knowing what Bounty might appear next, this can be a large advantage! This is the same reason casino cards all have a white or similar border.

Thank you all for your continued support!

@Chris - You can choose to play for Fame or Fortune to add a little diversity to the game. Additionally, some of the bounty deck cards will trigger an event that will effect players based on how much Fame or Fortune they have. I'll cover this aspect in a future update for sure.

      Thanks Tony for the update.
Quick question - What's the difference between the fortune value and the fame value? or will this be covered in a future update :)
