The 3D Printable Fantasy Dwarven Mine RPG Dungeon Tiles are like no other Dungeon tiles on the market today. Tomb Guardians has designed a set of 43, 28-mm dungeon tiles that no longer require clips to connect the pieces together. All of our dungeon tiles are magnetically connected and use the magnets' polarity to hold the tiles in place. What this means for you is no more shoving tiles together, breaking and replacing tiles and clips, and, most importantly, not hurting or cutting your hands!
If you enjoy dungeon adventures, you will love this set of dungeon tiles. Sculpted by renown artist Iain Lovecraft, we have created an amazing dungeon full of special rooms (crystal room, forge room, storage room, blacksmiths room to name a few), LED lighting on some of the special rooms, tons of accessory pieces, 12 Tomb Guardians 28mm Miniatures(STL Files)(7 Dwarfs and 5 Monsters created by Jason Weibe and Bobby Jackson) and a whole lot of dungeon tiles. Let your imagination run wild and create your own adventure. This entire project is being offered for 3D Printable STL Files.
"I absolutely love the quality of Tomb Guardians Miniatures. The sculpts are top notch from some of the worlds best sculptors, good quality materials are used, the casts come out beautiful!” (Lyn Stahl, Metalhead Minis)
"I received my Tomb Guardian Dwarves and they are truly the best miniature molds I have ever seen. The detail is exceptional. I'm looking forward to further factions." (Scott H. in Marion, OH)
"I have bought miniatures from several different manufactures, plastic and metal. I personally like metal models the best. I was blown away with the detail and quality of the tombs guardians models. There was virtually zero prep work required prior to priming! The level of detail and crispness throughout the model is unmatched. These will be a staple in my collection moving forward." (The Redbeard Painter)
"I purchased the Tomb Guardians Dwarven Miniatures set during their Kickstarter campaign. These arrived last week, and they are excellent. Well sculpted, well proportioned. The Paladin and Swordsman appear a second away from dealing some serious damage, and the female Warriors are outstanding! My favorite of the group is Thrarbuk Deepmore, the Dwarven King, in his Dragon Scale Cloak. A great line of figures. I am getting my palette ready now..." (Barry in Vancouver)
Everybody hates waiting, and many of us have been burned by poorly designed files and broken delivery timelines in previous kickstarters. In an effort to provide the best Kickstarter possible, I do not consider launching this project until the core models have been COMPLETELY DESIGNED AND TEST PRINTED AND PRODUCED! Everything offered in the core pledge levels and many of the stretch goals are currently ready for delivery. However, some of the stretch goals mainly the special rooms and 28mm miniatures are not completed and will take several months to finalize. These will be delivered at a different time.
Based on our experience, while making our current miniatures, this is how the production process for 'Lost Dwarven Magnetic Dungeon Tiles' should proceed:
- September, 2019: Tomb Guardians receives money from Kickstarter
- September-October, 2019: Production, and File Generation
- October-December, 2019: Delivery
Disclaimer & Printing Requirements
To get the most out of the printable parts from this Kickstarter, you will need to have a well-tuned 3D printer. For terrain/scatter and FDM printer capable of printing at a minimum .2mm layer height (ideally .15mm) is ideal (such as an Ender 3 or Prusa I3 M3). In the few cases where supports are needed, you can generate them with your slicer and they should work great. Parts are cut to small pieces to facilitate printing. All designs for terrain are cut and keyed to fit on a 300x300cm print bed. For miniatures, a resin printer is ideal and all miniature models are cut/keyed to fit on standard sized smaller resin print beds (such as an Anycubic Photon), with the exception of a few large miniatures. Miniatures will print on FDM but are more challenging as supports will be required, but many people get great results printing FDM miniatures.
Every part is test printed by myself and repaired to be manifold and ready to drop on your slicer - however, In the event that any issues with the files get past my own QA testing and process, and my other test printers, we will make every effort to fix the file and remedy the situation as soon as possible. Our number one goal is to make some awesome, unique designs that you can enjoy and have fun with!
Tomb Guardians was started by Cass Suwinski in June 2018. Our first miniatures were released in December 2018, all made of pewter metal. We work with best sculptures in the business - Iain Lovecraft, Jason Weibe, Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne.

Risks and challenges
At Tomb Guardians, we have experience in designing, production and distribution of our miniatures and dungeon tiles.
We are fortunate that our design portion of the project has been completed and master of each dungeon tile, accessory piece have been created. However the production molds, production and distribution portion of the miniatures have not been completed for this project yet.
We are confident about the delivery of these dungeon tiles, and miniatures and see no risk in that area - we have accumulated vast experience working on other miniatures. The only risk factor, which can always happen, is a delay in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
