Project Progress Update #5: Translation Complete!
Happy (almost) Halloween, everyone! Hope you all have some spooky fun planned for the end of the month!
We've continued to be hard at work on all aspects of the project, and today we can tell you that translation for the all-ages version of the game is 100% finished! There's still work to be done for the content patch, but we commend our translators Samantha Tanabata, Cafe, and Blick Winkel, as well as our editor Connor Krammer, for all their hard work so far.
Speaking of editors, work on editing for the all-ages version is also proceeding steadily, and is almost halfway done! However, in the interest of bringing the game to everyone as soon as possible (without sacrificing quality!), we've brought another editor on board to handle the Hozuki Chapters while Connor continues working hard on the main game. This new editor is Evan Ward - let's take a moment to meet him!
Editor: Evan Ward
Howdy, everyone! I'm the newest addition to the Sharin no Kuni team, and I've been brought in to help edit the Fandisc chapter, "A Moment's Rest." A few of you might recognize me from my work as Main Translator & Localization Director on Muv-Luv Alternative's official Steam release recently, and I'm very excited to have been given the chance to work with some of my best friends in the industry on yet another awesome Kickstarter project!
We're very steadily nearing the game's completion, and we plan to be back soon with another update previewing the English build of the game as well as some more reward items. See you then!
