Tochigi Prefecture Hankos
Hanko stamps are used in everyday life in Japan for signing important documents. They are a solid material with a carved inscription of your name used to leave an ink stamp on paper.
We specialise in making CNC manufactured, bespoke hanko stamps made in acrylics and wood. We are looking to expand our business and reach globally and intend to do this with a website which we are hoping to fund through this campaign.
If you like Japanese culture and want your own little piece of the land of the rising sun consider backing this campaign.
You can get your own hanko stamp made in one of 5 materials (clear pink acrylic, yellow acrylic, aqua acrylic, coral colored acrylic or wood).
Thank you for your time.
Risks and challenges
There are several risks involved in this project, our CNC machine, although it is completely reliable and has never let us down, could possibly break down, we do however have access to a back up machine so in the event of this happening we should still be able to fulfil orders on time.
Another risk involved is that the material manufacturers we buy our raw materials from could stop stocking one of the types of acrylics we use, in this circumstance an appropriate replacement material will be sourced.
We have had much experience in manufacturing these hankos so we hope we can overcome any challenges or risks.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
