"To All The Little Girls" is a documentary by Becca Morgan that weaves together the untold stories of the sixty-five million people who were inspired by Hillary Rodham Clinton and her historic run for President. The film explores the past, present, and future in an effort to offer key insights on how the community can move "onward together". The personal will meet resistance in discussions surrounding post-election mental health, online harassment, and the divided left.
Becca, a past volunteer with Hillary for America, will travel across the country to interview supporters, activists, and experts to paint a picture of how the campaign inspired and moved people to action. She will also be covering Secretary Clinton's book signings and live talks to show how the community is coming back together.
"To All The Little Girls" will be released on January 20th 2018, one year after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. It will be available online for free.
Why This Documentary is Important
During the election season, many amazing stories from the campaign were shared. Unfortunately, these stories rarely made it into the nightly news cycles. Hillary's historic run deeply inspired people across the country. These people want to tell their stories now more than ever, but the media rarely invites these folks to share them.
This documentary will serve as a record of a critical time in United States history. Secretary Clinton has told her story, now it is time to tell ours. The HFA community is vibrant, diverse, kind-hearted, and driven. Becca hopes this film inspires all the little girls of today and tomorrow to keep fighting and remember their worth. She also strongly believes that storytelling has the ability to break down walls, bridge understanding, mobilize, and uplift.
