I have 60 plus years behind me with decades of experience in manufacturing, distribution and retail. They are all just making me work and market since this was and is my idea, my product. I have to earn it.
Everything is in place and ready to go for early August just in time for fall. The factories can produce 100k units a week specifically for me and have a 3 week turnaround time. So I can get everything going as soon as or leading up to the end of this campaign. You can always reach out to me for updates or questions, I love talk and would love to hear from you.
Also to note in more detail:
Thanks for the backing and great question was asked. I actually have the deposit made with the manufacturer so they started production. I will have to pay the remaining balance. I had to commit to a large order but they agreed to ship in segments because I didn't know what to expect from Kickstarter. Additionally, I have been literally knocking on police department doors and hardware stores since I know they wouldn't be Kickstarter people. So If I combine those funds and KS starter funds I am ok. Plus my cousin will help bridge the gap as he called it if Kickstarter looks promising and I can show people are interested. Now I just cross my fingers the manufacturer can stay true to their timeline. They told me the whole process would take 45 days and they started when I started the campaign. Alright that was a long explanation but I hope that gives a good sense of where I am at. Thanks again -Cade
I have come this far with the help and support of friends, family and the family business. On a local scale, I have seen genuine interest in my gloves and they seem to fill a need as I dreamed they would. However, the Kickstarter Community is a game changer. With the help of the Kickstarter Community I can prove my concept on a global scale and show that my gloves and lights are unique, fill a void with the ability to save and protect people the way I believe wholeheartedly.
My line adds value and I need your support to spread the word and help bring this project to life in a meaningful way. My manufacturing team needs a financial commitment from me to get this started on a larger scale. I have set my funding goal to cover that minimum. If I hit or exceed my goal that won’t be a problem as I have the numbers down to make this work for everyone involved and I can crack this out and begin shipping everyone their rewards in August just in time for fall.
A guide. I will reach out for sizing once campaign ends.
Risks and challenges
The main challenge I think is that maybe my target market of individuals are not Kickstarter people, I hope I am wrong but a lot of the officers and industrial workers I interact with tell me that they aren't familiar with Kickstarter. I hope I am wrong and that might just be the individuals in my community.
I am dedicated, hardworking, focused and I do have the pieces in place to deliver on my promises. Part of my target group is law enforcement, military and city workers, those are groups I do not want to upset in fact I want to make them safer so I am putting it all on the line.
I have been working out of my families Army - Navy and Occupational store that has been around since the 1950's. For 2 years I have been shipping out and processing 1,000's of packages a month, handle the email marketing and maintain the daily interaction with guests. This is my unique product and I can do this.
I offer full transparency and I am always accessible and I want to hear from everyone and connect with everyone. Connect with me on here, connect with me on social media, Linkedin, Snap, I am there. Thank you so much for everything, taking the time to view my project and meet me.
All my best -Cade Cassidy
The gloves will have Tactical Lites and the Fist logo and not Semper Fi Industries and the Skull.... At least at first. I am going to see what I can work out we may keep the current Semper Fi Industries and Skull. Best!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
