Long ago, we had peace in Perim and the four races lived in balance. Then came the Dawning, an event that changed some into new beings. They had become Radiant, acquiring abilities to fight beyond the borders of their own realm. The delicate balance of Perim was destroyed. War covered the land for an age before the dust settled. The peoples of Perim were hopeful that this new peace would hold, but we hoped in vain. A second Dawning occurred. The rise of a new Radiant people threw the world once more into chaos. And so we have come to accept the cycle of the Radiant. Even as our cultures struggle to advance, in each age the power shifts anew. Some say our only hope is to unite Perim under a single banner. Will it be yours?

- Draft an army of warriors including the versatile Radiant.
- Assemble sets of units to show your strength.
- Lead the war through the four realms of Perim to claim majorities on the map.
- Activate assassins to target threats from your opponent's hand.
- Pair knights with mounts for the strongest play.
- Claim mystic temples, activate arcane portals.
- Constant player engagement with trick-taking battles.

In Radiant, you are the general of a diverse fantasy army, seeking to unite Perim under your banner. The game plays over three ages, each divided into a few phases: Recruit, Meld, and War.
During the Recruit Phase, you will be dealt a hand of cards that represents your army. You will then recruit additional units by drafting cards into your hand from the drafting pool.
During the Meld phase you will show off your strength. Play sets of cards and score points, then return the cards to your hand.
The War phases make up most of the game. The player with the most scouts selects the region for the first battle by moving the battle tracker.
Each Player commits a unit to battle. In Perim, each race has evolved the abilities to dominate its realm. Thus, it is the most powerful native unit that will be victorious.
The Radiant are an exception. In every age, one race is blessed with extra abilities. They aren't all powerful, but they are able to compete across all of Perim.
Mark your victories with a control cube, and select the next battle's location.
Ancient portals can be used to quickly move across the world of Perim.
Claim the riches in conquered regions. These coins are victory points and are more plentiful in ages two and three.
Controlling a majority in a realm at the end of an age will earn you points.

Risks and challenges
The most common challenge in board game projects is production delays. The game will be manufactured in China. Manufacturing, freight shipping to the United States and the United Kingdom, and then delivery from our fulfillment centers all have the possibility of delay. I will also be carefully monitoring proofs before printing, and that could take extra time if we discover things aren't looking right. Quality will take priority over punctuality.
With that said, I fully expect to hit our target delivery date. I have carefully laid out the production schedule and I've built in a buffer so that games can be delivered on time. Although artwork needs to be finalized, I waited until the art for the game was nearly complete before even launching the campaign.
